After reading, I plan on checking some of these other actors out as I haven't seen many of them before, but the recommended works you guys listed (i.e. New Life Begins, Scent of Time) seem interesting!
I wanted to tell you that I was engaged for all of your sections but nothing could've prepared me for the chuckle I let out with the GIF you chose for Magic Cell Phone and the fakest slap I've ever seen for Married First, Then Fall in Love xD
I've learned that if I find something that I deem interesting enough, the ratings are not enough to stop me from watching it. I love that you dove in, did the math and took a chance on some of these dramas.
Such a well written article with an interesting concept. It's only recently that I've been stumbling across cover art of chinese dramas on Pinterest so it was fun reading an article on being swayed by the initial image. For my process, I will probably add it to my watch list if there's an actor of interest in the image, but whether or not it actually gets watched depends on the casting + synopsis.
I find that some of the initial cover art for Wuxia's or Xianxia's tend to be a bit more ambigious so I don't make my choice until I've done enough research.
First of all, I was awaiting this article ever since i heard about it on the forums as I love looking at creative profiles and creating them as well.
There are familiar profiles that I’ve known and loved (i.e Soju, JulyMoon, Noel, Aehsassy, Mon, Nightdews to name a few) and new profiles that I haven’t come across that look just as beautiful and inspiring.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the time and attention to detail all the writers put into this unique piece. From the blurbs, to the format of the article, it’s truly well crafted and I’m glad MDL finally let this editorial see the light of day.

Clarity was added to that sentence to highlight that the character thinks clearly before taking action. That being said, it wouldn’t mean she’s being irresponsible because she’s taking action but rather, that she sees the bigger picture and is using her power and ability to face those problems head on without thinking about how it may affect herself in the end.
Cui Lin’s strength is not without planning and she has shown throughout the show that she can handle the consequences thrown her way despite how difficult the challenge may be.
