Title Forever Love Spoiler
Unless i’m missing something, did Qi Yue and senior sister Shi attend Lin Xi and Jing Zhehang’s wedding? I don’t recall seeing them there despite being invited as groomsman and bridesmaid?

Why is there increase in number of troll and antis towards our XLH? Jealousy? Please watch the drama properly…
I’m definitely going to check out Moonlight after this drama for Esther. I think Dylan and Esther did an amazing job with this drama especially with the body switching which is an element that not every drama can get right.

I really didn’t even notice Esther’s voice until I started reading the comments on here. I typically give a drama 5 episodes before making a decision if I like it or not and I loved the show from episode 1. People are fixated on the wrong things, it’s well worth the watch.

The last drama I watched which was Miss Crow with Mr lizard also had the same trend
That drama is on my PTW list as well. Looking forward to it 😭

If last few episodes are wasted only showing lovey dovey moments the drama would become boring and everyone would…
I had a feeling someone would say that it’d become boring, but I honestly don’t think so. Maybe not all of the final episodes, but we didn’t even get to see a wedding and there was so much that was under explained (i.e Jieli & Shangque’s relationship) because of the amnesia trope and the less than interesting Evil Sui God.

It can have angst, sure it’s an xianxia it makes sense. But to have multiple episodes in succession up until the last 10 minutes of the final episode, doesn’t give me true HEA vibes. Which is why many are left with the feeling that they wanted more.

To each their own though!
On Love between Fairy and Devil Sep 13, 2022
Don't get me wrong, I do really love the romance in this drama and it has easily become one of my favorites. I do however, hate the trend where the last few episodes of a drama are as angst driven as possible and then glossed over with a couple minutes of happiness within the final episode. I've seen it in Ancient Love Poetry, The Imperial Coroner, Under the Power.. to name a few.

I would've preferred if the last few episodes were focused on the life of Orchid & Qingcang after their marriage, or to develop more of Jieli & Shangque’s story.
On Love between Fairy and Devil Sep 11, 2022
I’m currently on episode 30 but I had to pause the show to share my favorite moment.

I’ve had so many favorite moments from watching this drama but my absolute favorite is when Qingcang shared the pain of Orchid going to the cave for him and his tribe.

When he respected her decision to share the burden of their forbidden love, I was surprised. But then I fell in love with the two even more when he spit out the drink she gave him so he wouldn’t feel the pain.

Quote from the scene: “Since we decided to be a couple, we must live and die together, share the honor and disgrace. Even though I can’t take it for her, how can I let her suffer alone?”

I love this drama!

So how's the rom? Satisfying end? I came here cuz I saw soul mate movie damn the fl is so good although I know…
The end isn't as satisfying as I wanted it to be. Yes, the leads reunite in the last few minutes of the last episode but it isn't enough to say that it's a satisfying ending. Imo, it would've been better had the entire last episode be about their reunion rather than the last few minutes.

Ling He’s acting was fine in Maiden Holmes but the storyline was a bit boring. Definitely nothing to get excited…
I can't argue about the storyline as I felt like the cases weren't really as interesting (i.e. if I were to compare it to a similar drama like Ancient Detective), but Maiden Holmes is still one of my favorite romances and I think he did a good job despite that being his first drama role.
On Love between Fairy and Devil Sep 5, 2022
My first time seeing Ling He since Maiden Holmes and he’s a second male lead 🥲 (internal sigh).

Despite me dreading my future heartbreak over Chang Heng, I’m enjoying this drama so far. I haven’t seen the FML or FL act before but they are impressing me so far.

I tried watching this but ended up giving up around episode 2 or 3 I can't remember. His acting like her brother…
Yeah that's where I am currently, in between continuing past episode 2 or just dropping it. The dubbed voices along with the acting just feels pretty bad.

Oh she ate and her character was brilliant, but why Jin Mu get to be alive and still the big bad after 20 episodes?…
No fr tho! I was hoping he'd get what's coming to him but ofc not lol they need a villain for part 2.

The actress portraying the queen absolutely did her thing in the last few episodes of the drama. She truly made me believe she had been soul shifted into. She gave us everything: posessed, crazy & losing your damn mind.

Title The King's Affection Spoiler
I had the King's Affection on hold for almost two months because I found it a bit boring starting out. I've been…
I feel like Dam Yi should've confided in her much sooner, especially if she could've seen Ha Kyung as a friend if the circumstances were different. It took way too long for Dam Yi to explain herself to the confused Ha Kyung, whom all she wanted was to receive/give love and bore a child for the prince.
On The King's Affection Aug 14, 2022
I had the King's Affection on hold for almost two months because I found it a bit boring starting out. I've been sick recently so I decided to give this another go and found it more enjoyable as I was able to see the comedic scenes, the romance and become fascinated with how Dam Yi was going to continue being a prince as a woman.

I found myself facing SL syndrome which later changed as I saw more of the main lead (Ji Woon) and how cute he was. I felt the chemistry between the leads and I wasn't sure how the drama would end but I was still rooting for their HEA. It was an interesting journey reaching the end of this drama and I'm glad I finished it.

I ended up rating this drama a 7. This was because while I enjoyed everything I mentioned including the acting (This was my first time meeting all the MCs), the dragged out scenes between the leads and the super late confession made me anxious and aggravated towards the end of the drama. I love longer dramas but only when necessary, this drama should've wrapped up at 16 episodes.

I will say though, I felt so bad for Ha Kyung. (explanation in a spoiler).

I agree!!! I was surprised how much I loved ancient detective because I'm not really into the detective genre but it was so intriguing. Every episode I was hooked. I desperately hope it gets another season,

Finished this last week an I'm having a hard time moving on. Chengge has become one of my all time favorite character.…
This drama took me like four months to move on. I couldn't find any better but then I found a couple dramas I really enjoyed (not as much as TLB but still enjoyed) afterwards.

Some I'd recommend:

- Who rules the world
- Ancient detective
- Under the power
- The imperial coroner

I'm so glad I took a chance on this drama and ignored comments about it. While I wasn't initially into the details of Yu Tu's aerospace career, I became interested later on because of his character progression and Jing Jing's love and support for him and his dream. I'm a girl that loves everything romance, so I appreciate how mature and healthy the romance in this drama was. It's a slow burn but it's very appropriate and well-thought out.

Happy or sad ending?
Cliffhanger. If it's happy or sad, it's up to your interpretation of the cliffhanger.

Title Stand by Me Spoiler
My favorite scenes of the drama were when Ruo Yu and Yan Zhi realized they were sisters. I smiled so much at their interactions and how close Yan Zhi was trying to get to Ruo Yu without her finding out. It's a shame that in the end Ruo Yu couldn't have her HEA with Yan Zhi or Qi Yan.
