Guys do you think FL will find out she is not Luo first or family (I mean others in family not ML) will find out…
i’ma assume that she finds out first since she’s also suspecting that there’s more to her mom’s death. maybe along the way she finds out about her birth. Since as of right now no one is suspecting her origin of birth yet. but it’s just a theory 🤷🏻♀️🥲
I love the way where they’re going with the new plot but with how much they’re changing, I hope the script writers don’t make it a flop like I Will Never Let You Go.
and the audacity to say “subjective opinion” like have some decency. the whole world doesn’t need to know…
100% agree with you. the excuse of staying for your favorite and continue to trash someone that plays a main role is ugly. this is not the only drama that your favorite is in. go back and watch whatever you enjoy watching if something bothered you so much that you need to make nasty comments.
Are we allowed to criticize an actor/actress looks? If not, why are we allowed to criticize their voice so much…
and the audacity to say “subjective opinion” like have some decency. the whole world doesn’t need to know that you’re going to drop the drama, just do it. unless you don’t have any friends but yeah, i wonder why
It's not boring, it's INFURIATING!!! The family dynamics are chaotic (expected in historic dramas but this one hits a different nerve). The story between the leads are interesting and definitely have chemistry. I think it's playing out well. If you feel weird about their current relationship status, let the drama marinate and come back later lol
I am European so don't know the Japanese behaviours. However why work so hard but neglect your partner? It is…
I don't think he was neglecting her. He was struggling financially and as a man, naturally you would want to be the provider. As a woman, we're more emotionally sensitive. She has her own flaws too. She didn't express her burdens or asked for reassurance since she also knows he's trying. But it all build up and she couldn't take it anymore. She is also alone in a foreign country, so it makes everything worse. All in all, it was nobody's fault. Right person, wrong time.
Episodes 1-6 review so far: I like how Ren Min execute Luo Yining. Luo Yining is a depicted as a young teenage girl who tries to keep her cleverness behind an innocent, child-like facade. She's bubbly but with a mature demeanor. This is my first time watching Zhang Wan Yi, and I think they changed his character of being a cold, ruthless, and unreadable character into someone that's a lot more warm. Although I do prefer his personality in the book lol yk "bad boy" vibes. The age-gap between these two doesn't seem too far apart, and I'm glad. They're slowly introducing Lu Jia Xue, who seems to have some sort of relations with Luo Yining. Flashbacks are similar to how the old Luo Yining died but I'm not sure if they're going this route as it looks like Lu Jia Xue was previously blind, which was not in the novel. I think they casted the right person for Cheng Lan too. I'm excited to see what kind of relationship will he have with Yining.
People who aren't aware of the original plot might not take this drama well in the beginning because of the brother/sister relationship. I like how they didn't make LYN and LSY grow up together as siblings. Therefore, it wouldn't feel too weird later on when LSY reveal his feelings for her. And in the drama it looks like he has never once considered her as a sister. I'm enjoying the route that they're taking us with these two.
No swapping bodies or souls in this one. Just mixed up parentage. ♥
You think so? Basing off the first trailer, there was a scene where she was playing a tune and Lu Jia Xue shockingly asked her where she learned to play that and also when she said "Luo Yuning is already dead". LJX seems to be obsessed with her like how it was in the novel unless they tweaked it. I mean The Princess Royal passed the transmigration banned and In Blossom switched bodies LOL I hope it follows the re-incarnation plot.
Lol well sometimes, dramas are filmed years before they are aired. Same themes can't be helped... it's just how…
I think it's a good thing that they tweaked a lot of things. To be honest, I don't get the hype of the novel. All of the male characters are major red flags. They're all so obsessive, controlling, and manipulative. I dropped the novel half way because I hate the concept of her being a child and him being a full grown adult. It seems like they changed the age-gap, the fact that they didn't grow up together as siblings then started liking each other, and so many more. I'm looking forward to the change and new plots they came up with.
Guys before I dive into the drama, can someone pls explain the plot to me, are they like step siblings or cousins?…
Technically, they are "step-siblings" since her mother is married to the ML's dad. But they both have different parents. ML's mom is a concubine and he is from the Luo family. FL's mom was one of the main wives but she got pregnant with another man (his status is much higher than the family she lives with now). In conclusion, they are not related at all. She just adopted the Luo surname because she lives in that household. No one knows about this except the grandmother, who later tells the ML before she died. She later changed her surname to her bio dad's once they found him and she goes live with him. ML never saw FL as a sister.
I keep reading similar comments to yours, but when I look for these 'hate comments' just to read, I can not actually…
If you scroll a few comments down, you'll see. I also saw some youtube comments. They're just complaining about her voice, acting and comparing her to the FL in AYTO. Someone literally said they've never watched any of Ren Min's works and compared her to someone they've continuously watched, hoping that she could reach that level of acting. Make it make sense.
The fl acting gives me some ickk, why can't they make her portray her character naturally. The forced childish…
I think they chose the right actress to portray a young character. If you prefer a mature FL, then this isn't for you. Luo Yining is a young teenage girl, not an adult. It's funny how you're comparing someone you've never watched--their acting skills to someone you've watched grow. I get it if you've watched her previous works and then made that statement but you saying that just makes you look shallow.
I've been looking forward to this since last year. It just started airing and y'all got so much to say already. It's so disappointing to see hate comments toward the FL for nothing. I've loved Ren Min since Cry Me A Sad River. Y'all either never watched any of her works or only saw her in TLP, which was her worst project. I heard a lot of c-netizens liked her in Serenade of Peaceful Joy. Personally, I didn't enjoy her character but that doesn't mean her acting sucked. Y'all forget that acting is their job and the character they're portraying doesn't define who they are. Y'all LOVE to compare your favorites by putting other actors/actresses down. Simply because y'all insecure.
It's okay to have favorites, biases, and specific preferences but when you have to nitpick every little flaw, go touch some grass. It's also okay to give constructive criticisms but sometimes y'all just need to stfu and move on. It's a different project, different character, different storyline. Watch it or leave it. I'm sorry that your life is so miserable that you need to make hateful comments to satisfy your ego.
Can someone please explain why the ML shirt is almost always either wet or dirty. I'm so confused lol
I noticed that too haha. If you watched behind the scenes it was superrr hot and everyone was sweating like crazy LOL. It’s probably because of the tropical climate
