She's Pian Pian, she's a spirit type character.

I don't want to spoil just incase the story didn't get changed as its also linked to the central story. But in the leaked version he doesn't die but it's bittersweet.

When his makeup changed, someone said he was poisoned by fl2, we'll have to see if they were right. @Kokuto has the photos in the discussions area. There was also an alleged leaked script where his character and FL2 have a weird and kinda cruel fate line. If it goes like the leak it will be bittersweet and tragic

He supposed to be a good character but he's either poisoned or possessed later going by the photos posted. Also heard it's another tragic role :(

I was not expecting this fandom to be viscous as the ml wasn't traffic. One user who has many accounts on mdl managed to get their hate review to the top of the mdl TBL page. She's prolific, she also tried that with Neo Hao but they managed to drown her down.

To act well in a drama gets you a dragging. It's not the first time WD got the added drama trope used to down him. It's toxic fan cultures that bully the smaller fandoms, sigh.

His role in The Blossoming Love was not annoying . The problem was his character was getting some love in CN. He was very gentle and tragic as Nan Xuyue. The fight was some of the toxic fan stuff carried over as some fans of the ml felt he had drama "added", so all the fixation on his character getting the best shots or costumes. Or being liked by the fl. The comments were so vile. It's actually a good drama and it did well on Douban.
