I heard he's a cameo, do you know who he plays? Missed him since TBL😭.
If you have time he was phenomenal on TBL, one of my favourite roles of his now. His 3 characters caused all kinds of discussions over him😅. I'm bad, but I'm hoping he's the villain here😁. And your comment isn't long at all🤗.
here's why i need JJY and Wang Duo in the same frame again. Their story in SAF4 was SO GOOD. (don't watch this…
I would love that too. He had some weight on back then, but he's back to himself and he looks so good in Blossoming Love. He and Sun Zhenni were great together there too lol.
😂😂WD shone in this drama and I cannot wait to watch his next project as ML 🫰🏻
I'm waiting for "Xiao Yao", there's Tan Songyun, Neo Hao, and Zhao Liying guesting . The director's from "The Knockout". It's also his 2nd time with WD as he was the producer of "Bloody Romance"💎.
I might be in the minority here but the NYX/MXL-Fate/Pearl relationship was the most interesting part of the drama.…
Their dynamic is so different from the usual. It's got people talking, especially if you're gonna try and fit this into the usual boxes but can't. But I also loved that they left it ambiguous. TMS was the most grey character for me, from the beginning right to the end.
I don't feel sml syndrome easily but here it's different every time I try to feel annoyed when he comes between…
Me too. His character is very complex and deeper than that. He can't be fitted into the usual obsessive 2ml like most dramas. His duty and curse when he was banished to the mortal realm was a mocking of his sense of protection towards Pearl. It was twisted so he developed obsessions looking for her. And together with his dreams and him retaining some foretelling skills, it lead him to repeating the same outcomes, as per the curse of "love and misery".
Someone below explained it well why MXL was the way she was. After she regained her memories of HDZ she did not hate TMS as a stranger, she remembers him and their long shared past, and him taking her love curse and the blows for her. So MXL is a combination of both memories. I think it was well done in that she was sad and understood him but she wanted to draw a line. Then once she understood the full picture of what he was going to take on, she and ZM got behind it. But his ending was actually the cruelest for me as he never got to live for himself even till the end.
Wang Duo is now eye candy after the Blossoming Love. The fact he is in this with Neo makes me wonder if he is…
You came from TBL too lol, he's been eye candy for a while. This is the 3rd time with Neo, and it's the same director and producer of Bloody Romance. I'm also wondering if he plays a villain.
I loved TBL. It's one of the few dramas I didn't drop. This isn't your cliché xianxia. From the get go we have our sexy and sassy fl MXL. For me she was the centre of this show and really watchable. The story isn't the usual format where the side characters are there to serve the main leads. They were interesting side characters with depth and arcs that added to the overall premise of this story of what love is, and its different forms, and how there is no absolute black or white in life, but many forms of greys in this world. I'm glad they went with that as this could've been just another run of the mill Xianxia otherwise.
I just wished we had another episode so they could tie up everybody's stories with more scenes. Also, I loved ZBB and WD. They were perfectly casted for their respective roles. As someone else said, they are physically and aesthetically the polar opposites, but they both looked good😍 and are great actors too. SZN really holds this show as the centre. Her acting was so seemless as MXL that I never felt I was out of the drama. She has a lot of screen presence. From the moment she appeared she held her own in challenging scenes and with veteran actors. She did not feel like a newby that was out of place and needed carrying. I'm watching her work from now on. Some parts are too painful for me to rewatch through, but I've been rewatching some of my favourite scenes, and for once I felt a drama ended its run too quickly😭.
I was away a day and they're still laboring on about fl being a cheater or not loyal enough, lordy. Everyone has…
That's a drama I would watch! Someone mentioned he has a "Black Lotus" and "Fairy and Devil" temperament. That makes him interesting and unpredictable to watch. I love his acting style, but he's been unlucky with his dramas not getting released before. I hope he gets a good character and script 🔜.
I was only gone for like a week and what has happened to the comment section lol. I had a lot of fun reading discussions…
I was away a day and they're still laboring on about fl being a cheater or not loyal enough, lordy. Everyone has different views but to dog people to feel the same when they don't is doing too much and annoying. I love this drama because there was more than the main love cp. It shows us there is no absolute black and white, with interesting back stories of the other characters.
🎬I wouldn't mind seeing a Gongzi, TMS showdown. That would be insane.
Looks like female characters are only allowed to interact with male leads, or they'll be accused of cheating and/or…
In the context like this story, ( I dunno if you've watched it all yet). No I wouldn't have a problem if the ml was the same. I don't see their interactions as romantic in any way.

If we're to have fl"s not allowed to interact with other male characters, this drama would be very boring and predictable. The Fl here is both loyal and a compassionate person. She's no fool with her interactions with 2ml, as in the context of their back story it makes sense. She's always set boundaries, and she's sacrificing left and right for the ml. Not calling you an incel, but this kind of overreach is weird. With all the hyper focusing on her actions and the over emotional reactions as cheating is strange.
Apparently, the way he destroyed the book and his soul meant no more him forever😪. But I too want to imagine he gets to live a happier curse free life in the next dimension...
His ending here is worse than the one in the book. In there after he sacrificed he went into slumber and returned to heaven. Here he dissapated his soul completely 😭
A character doesn't have to be a good guy for people to get second male lead syndrome. Just interesting and many…
Hang in there. His arc goes up and down. I would say even to the end he was still an enigma and grey with people still debating what was really in his heart.
