I am halfway through the show and so far everything had been unrealistic for me. There were too many coincidences between Soramame and Oto. And I can't believe that an ambition-less happy-go-lucky girl is suddenly sketching dresses in episode 4 and is hired by a luxury brand in episode 5 - everything just happened in a couple of months as per the timeline. It's just unbelievable. And I didn't like the dress she designed for that diva - it looked like she was wrapped in a bedsheet. I am only here for Nagase's handsomeness at this point.
In the initial episodes, there was a scene where the young versions of the main characters practice English and one of the words is 'star struck', its meaning wasn't revealed during that scene. I low-key expected a throwback of what the word really meant, it would have given a nice closure to the drama.
Con someone confirm it? I heard the main couple had been officially declared a fixed pair, which is a first in China. They have their own logo and fandom(just like how GMMTV does). Which means we can expect more series of them together. Is it really true?
In the family reunion episode, after seeing the neatly organized room by Hu Yetao, Yuchen's mom says, 'You must bring Hu Yetao to our home'. And everyone immediately start laughing(as literally it would mean bringing Hu Yetao as daughter-in-law) and the mom then corrects the sentence she said, "Bring all your friends." Yuchen was so shocked his mom would ask something like that. It was so hilarious. I had to rewatch a few times.
I was never an movie/series enthusiast. I was such a boring person before one of my classmates narrated the story of A Crazy Thing Called Love. It was my first Thai movie. And then I went on to watch Ugly Duckling: Don't. And after that, there was no stopping. I traversed China, Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines - all the while sitting at my home. Now, I proudly reside in DramaLand.
