"There's a scene in the novel when HY asked him why he didn't stay with his DZY after knowing his identity and he said DZY had family around her but HY was alone." If that scene happens in the drama, I would break down down and cry.

Epic battle scenes are expensive to produce. In LOA, you see flashbacking flashes of the 80,000 battle. Nothing distinct! No principal characters having any dialog.

In episode 32, the Qin army of thousands, shows up at Qingnan's gate. It looks like CGI. I was calculating 100,000 initially, but the overhead shot looks blurred. They look like ants. 😁😁😁

On Legend of Anle, there are two set of writing credits. The original author's name appears in the opening credits, under the title treatment. The scriptwriting credits are the four writers who wrote the scripts.

Dramawiki shows the names of the scriptwriters. The novelist's name is not among the scriptwriters.

Sometimes, Chinese novels become involved in plagiarism claims, like Princess Agents.

The Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms novel was also in a plagiarism case. That is why the drama production was kept under the radar, and suddenly launched into TV distribution without any promotional work. That drama became a phenomenon worldwide and was even presented at the Cannes Television Festival.

LMX drank the wine. Is it poison? Is he dead after this episode?
I was referring to other dramas where they drink the tea of oblivion, or something. I don't really know LMX's final outcome. Who's going to investigate the fall of Qingnan? Han Ye?

For me, the momentum starts to decline in the last week of the drama. The buildup takes so long, that once the drama achieves the apex, there is only one direction to go. (Like Han Ye following off the cliff, the second time...scene to come.) XD

I suspect that drama companies might opt for "adaptations" for legal reasons. If the source material (novel) ends up in plagiarism hell, the drama production could be impacted if it is identical to the source material. Modifying the contents might be a way to keep the intellectual property out of the legal woes. Something like Princess Agents, that was impacted by plagiarism, and we will never see the concluding Season 2.

That Mingxi leaving Anning hi and dry is pretty dispicable. Everyone rushes to save Anle, never mind strategy.…
Mingxi failed the Strategic Planning and Execution executive training course. I might have missed it, but did we ever find out what Mingxi had been planning over the ten years, that he was credited for? Was the Pleasure Palace, his dream business? I laugh when I see "Pleasure Palace", which sounds like a brothel.

If you like Dilraba and Gongjun then you should watch this ,otherwise I don't think you will like this drama
An 8 rating is still very good. To me, 7.7 or below, could indicate the quality.

It reminds me of the annual performance self-review. The employee has to rate himself/herself, 1 to 5 on various job "assets and performance. If you rate yourself 5, the supervisor kicks it back for correction. HR policy is that 5 is impossible, and 4 requires proof. In reality, 3 is average, 2 is mediocre and 1 is failure.

Mingxi was working in the wrong department in the drama, if he is the war advisor.

If he lives, he needs to drink that special tea that erases all the memories. But, he abandoned Qingnan and Anning, so I can't see him being pardoned.

The fall of Qingnan is very sad. Qingnan was far from prepared for an invasion by the enemy, Northern Qin. What was Anning doing for ten years? I believe that Qin has been the enemy of Jing since the former Emperor's days, and an invasion was looming.

Why did Mo Bei bring several thousands of Qin soldiers to Qingnan, while a mere few thousand would easily overrun the city? He could have dispatched half his army to march on Jing. He already had reinforcements at Xiyuan and Han Ye's locations. This proves his father's POV. Mo Bei is not a very smart prince.

My favorite moment of episode 32 was when Han Ye showed up in armor, on horseback. His long hair was neatly wrapped up under his helmet. His face looked beautiful and flawless.

Ming Xi:
Watching Ming Xi's abuse of power, redirecting the army to Xi Yuan's distant location, I concluded that he was a bad weiqi player, and that he was never confident of Ren Anle(Xi Yuan)'s military skills. So much for Ming Xi's startegic planning and execution skills! Ming Xi thought he was "I-know-what-I am-doing" chief-in-charge since he was riding in front of the Jing army. Ming Xi is falling apart. He had a desk job too long, so now that he was smelling the air outdoors, he felt empowerment. His head should roll. Muahahahaha!

Mo Bei:
Mo Bei drugged and kissed Anning to silence her. He is a pea brain masterminded prince. He came face to face with Emperor Han many times in the palace. He had many golden opportunities to assassinate Emperor. Qin Emperor(or King?) would have promoted him immediately to Crown Prince. Another head should roll. Muahahaha!

Mo Bei and Ming Xi earn the Stupidity Award of the Week.

Perhaps Leng Bei was her career guidance counsellor, helping her achieve greatness, so he could stick next to her, like glue. He must have been getting restless for the last few years, waiting for her to go home to Jing, where he really needed to be. Not that he did much, except chat with Left Chancellor.
