The couplings, Victor/Bike Lady, Huang Shi/Mother Quentin, Song, Yiran/Chu Ting, Xiaoyu/Blu dragged the plot. They made Dr Xie, the SLS for Elise, who was SLS for Oliver. Yiran was SLS for Kesong for many episodes.
The only scenes that were well done, were Uncle Lin's restaurant. Kesong's parents become filler. Some of their conversations were boring. The Yuxuan restaurant workers were filler.

Yes! Things slow down pre and during Lunar New Year. I am also slowing down on the episodes. I was binge watching this drama daily for the last week. I watched episode 33 only today.
