I saw a thumbnail on a YT video, and recognized Cheng Yi immediately.😄😁😆

I started watching this drama a week ago, and was really intrigued with the plot and the actors. I have been watching it mostly of the ML (Father). After episode 10, I tried not to drop it because the plot is slow moving. After I finished ep 18, I decided to skip to 40, to see the outcome of the drama. Killing off the father is a huge disappointment.

The Father ML and daughter FL are very good casting. The smiling villain is good looking, and only slightly irritating, but the other two, Marquis Zhu Shi and High Priest spoil the screen. The set designs and CGI are elaborate while the costumes are not trend setting. The Flying Fish Ship is funny. This drama looks like a distant cousin of Novoland's Castle in the Sky, Tribes and Empires and Eagles Flag.

Your take on this drama is on point.

March 6 is the VIP finale, and March 21 is the general finale. The drama is good, so far.

I missed the previous interactions between her little brother and her, so her behavior seemed out of character.

I remember the young females were acting like Cinderella's stepsisters. 😆😆😆

Some of the Qiu women do not look much older than the young females. Even Liang's mother does not look old enough to be his mother.

I was shocked. I could not believe why she went after him with such force. I could understand a parent's wrath, but not a sibling's wrath.

I do the same. If the plot and the acting are predictable, I drop the drama.

Long Ballad struggled with too much filler. If they had trimmed the scripts/episodes, it could have been a romance of the ages.

The ML and FL of Imperial Coroner, Fall in Love and Autumn Ballad are cute couples.

I binge watcged eight episodes in two days. After watching 9/10 and 11/12, having to wait for next week's episodes is agonizing.

In the flashbacking, young Liang and young Yan look almost the same age. They met six or eight years ago? Is she in her early 20s? He would be in his mid 20s. Is Jeremy playing a younger character?

They could have hired the noveslist to write the drama. It would have been an improvement.
