That arc that was not developed. I expected to see more interaction between the two brothers, instead of a "By the way, this is what happened one day". The scriptwriter made an effort to send Zhouying on a secret mission on the prairie. I think it was disclosed that Tara was killed during the attack by Duoluo. That was glazed over. They should have shown Duohan and Zheliu meeting at the Fabric Store, or on the street.

If there were any relevant scenes in the lost episodes, they should have trimmed some of the existing episodes of filler, flashbacks, redundant singing and bad editing, and inserted the scenes.

LOL The fringes were the worst characteristics of the FJM character. I was calling them hair strands.

LOL Zizan and Tilan would be fighting over their man.

I think the Emperor's hairstyling plays an important role in his role portrayal . When he wears it down, Emperor actually looks likeable.

He looks normal and charming in the Imperial College drama, to be honest. I thought that I would not want to watch him in any drama, but I might give Imperial College a try.

In later episodes, he does a 180 degrees turn, but it looks so contrived and fake. It's like spousal abuse syndrome.

He is entertaining the viewers with his wide acting range. Truthfully, he is emoting more emotions than the other characters.

After watching PE ep 36, all I can say is "Muahahahahahaha". With twelve more episodes to go... what else can they concoct? Bring back Zhouying on the Range, please!

Ji Chang is very suspicious.

I hope they do not keep playing a thousand Zheliu flashbacks like they did with Yin Rong in Novoland Storm of Prophecy.

Maybe it will end like Legend of Fu Yao. LOL

He's one of the better acting actors in the Pearl Eclipse. I'd like to see more scenes of Duo Luo, to gauge Wang Sen's acting range.

Chemistry between Emperor and everyone sucks. LOL He is only tolerable in the flashbacks with Zizan. He also seems to have some fond memories with Jianming. LMAO

He is milking the part of innocent bystander. There is more to him, than meets the eye, as the saying goes.

The lighting was candlelight during the historical times, Unlike, Song of Glory, where the palaces were constantly lit up like Times Square at night. LOL

I agree. He puts up with the hysterical boss, and doesn't bat an eyelid at the Emperor's insanity.

It is painful to watch the third couple. Granted, Fang Zhouying is a young man in love for the first time, but his puppy love acting is OTP. Zeiliu, on the other hand, is UTP (Under The Top). I guess they balance each other out. I want to see Duo Lou and Zhouying face off. There is a reason why they met, and had instant recognition. Perhaps, Zhouying is a Lost Prince. LOL

When Emperor dies, no one will shedding a tear. LOL

You can see Ji Chang's evil streak slightly in last few episodes (21 to 24).
