Same here! I kept thinking of dropping it during the early episodes, but I wanted to watch Cheng Yi. The plot picked up once LSF's duplicity was revealed.

I had the same reaction, and started episode hopping. At some point, the plot got interesting, which I can't pinpoint. Now. I can't wait for the next episodes.

I finished fourteen episodes. I am confused how Xiao Ming Ming ended up in the novel or drama plot. Is he, the author or a cowriter? Can't he rewrite the plot, and eradicate the enemies, including the vile Qu Hanshan? Who is the third alter ego with the white hair?
