Wu Jun Ting has probably worked harder on this drama than he did on his previous acting jobs.

The Changxi Masters look weak for demon hunters. They hang around, talking and waiting. The only productive one was the Array Master. They must eat flatbread for their daily meals. They were so excited when Shuang Jiang brought it for them. The one guy grabbed four and was eating them together.

I am glad Chang Ming's finally gone. He was boring. He was a tepid sub-villain. I couldn't even tell him apart from the other brother who looks like him. He sure took a long time to die. I am still not sure what his objective was, besides being jealous of Mei Zhu Yu.

Who's next on the Exit train? Rat Lord? Wu Zi Shu? Mei Zhu Yu was standing around like a log in the demon chamber while Chang Ming was zapping Wu Zhen. Why didn't he summon the sword earlier? Wu Zhen took a lot of abuse from Chang Ming's black magic. In a way, I have to side with Wu Zhen, when she kicks Mei Zhu Yu under the bus. Shuang Jiang finally grew a pair of *^$#s. He's been hopping in and out of episodes, whining about being hungry. but stepped up to the plate by the end of ep 29. There's hope for Hu Zhu and him.

Master Sect Leade was really pragmatic, telling Chang Ming to his face that he was inferior and not Sect Leader material. LOL That was an immediate killjoy.

I thought Wu Zhen was higher than him in the demon chain. Now, he is controlling her? He should go back to his blank book pages, and try writing a novel.

She is the prettiest female in Chang'an and Demon City. The Consort is pretty, but she's spoken forl 😂😂😂 Wu Zhen smiles charmingly at them, and they fall in love with her.

Is he giving her the anti-pregnancy tea?

You look at Zi Shu's face when he does his evil deeds, and you think, "You look so young". 😁😁 He is one of the best flower boy villains. 🤣🤣

I am getting ready to start that episode.

Shuang Jiang should make a career change, and go into the restaurant business. He is the food expert (... ep 26). I like Array Guy. He has skills, and is good looking at the same time. 😁😁😁 I hope he becomes the next Changxi Sect Leader.

Shu has planted the seed of doubt in Mei. This is not going to be resolved any time soon, with ten more episodes to go.

He has been telling her that she is free to do what she wants. She interprets that as preapproval of her career objectives. Now, he knows his wife is disappearing at night, and hanging out with Shu. She doesn't know he is a demon hunter. Miscommunication before marriage is going to work against them.

This Celestial Master/Demon relationship is similar to the Cole-Phoebe relationship in Charmed.... Demon and Witch! Opposite sides of the spectrum! Except, Cole and Phoebe knew what the other was, before they married.

Wu Zhen a bit naive and egomaniacal to think that Mei Zhuyu will play along when he finds out that she has become a full demon, and lord of the demon society. I don't recall any mortal-demon families walking around Chang'An in the open. She has been hanging out with Wu Zi Shu too long. She has Shu Deranged Syndrome.

On second thought, MDL doesn't have the manpower to monitor all the currently airing dramas daily, to know which episodes have not aired. They can't really block unaired episodes.

He's the third wheel. Does he have more concubines, and children?

I used to love flowers. I would buy the silk flowers all the time. They looked real. I put some in my office, and employees stopped, and asked if they were real. I imagined that the hundreds of roses in the bathtub scene were silk flowers. I would like that Flower Assistant job, too.
