The alternate reality flashback 🤣🤣🤣 scenes are presented stupidly. The editor converts from Pan & Scan to Widescreen, and jumps into Si's déjà vu 🤣🤣🤣 memory. That is useless. If they want to differentiate the two timelines, just show the flashback in black and white.

The Si Jin drama is something else.... Jiang Si's family are spineless sycophants: grandma, aunt, uncle. Story is moving slowly, after four episodes. The ML and FL are good. The rebirth backtracks ten years, then moves forward, to alter the destiny. The villain Marquis is a sadistic womanizer. This drama should not be 40 episodes. 32 at best.

I watched the Tencent full version (1 hr plus length). The conversion from 15 minutes episodes into one full version produced a very choppy plotline. It might have been better if the writer and director had streamlined the timeline. Hong Yao was very good as Third Master Yin Heng. He resembled Hyun Bin... you might not be able tell them apart if they were in the same room. 😁😁 Jiang Peng Yu was convincing in the role of Songstress Wanwan.
