lol I started it for Ding Yuxi as I became a fan after his stint in 'Melody of Golden Age'...I was really looking forward to this drama after watching its trailer and expected a lighthearted watch and a HE tbh. Drama has been delightful and a breath of fresh air until the Imperial Capital arc then it quicky went downhill unfortunately imo ...I was still hopeful for a satisfying conclusion but after taking a glance at the remaining episodes, my hopes were dashed...I'm beyond disappointed and very angry.

I expected a SE for 'Fangs of Fortune' hence I didn't feel betrayed but here, I feel so cheated tbh...I hate those kind of endings the most+we only got a forehead kiss between the leads? pfft WTF?! Have I been watching a kids show ffs or what? Rating will decrease drastically. I started with a 9.5, I will only give it a 8 in the end. I hate betrayals the most.

Here mainly for Cheng Yi (who nails his role as usual) and I'm surprisingly enjoying it so far...it's better than expected for the moment and I'm also glad to see familiar faces such as Zhang Tian Yang and He Zhong Hua.

He's the one carrying the show with Esther but okay...Remove his name and I wouldn't even watch it.

I dunno what's this new trend of depriving the viewer of 'skinship' scenes *namely kisses* but I'm not liking it tbh (side-eyeing LGIEF production too😠)
