Hm...Ashes of Love:LYX in the drama - yesLYX fell for the FL first - yesBut...the major red flag is...the FL never…
I'm watching it at the moment (can't get enough of LYX) and let me tell you, SML syndrome has never been this strong than with this one...already hate the main couple with passion for hurting Run Yu...dunno if it was a good decision to start this one tbh hahaha But I started this because I've only heard good things about it, how stellar LYX's performance was in it..........well I'm already preparing myself for the heartbreak (+ tormented characters really suit him *masochist side talking here*)
I'm reading all comments in this section from the beginning of drama airing. And only last 10 hours here are so…
I love/enjoy both tbh. LBFAD made me a fan of Dylan Wang and TTEOTM introduced me to fabulous Luo Yunxi. I regret nothing. Why pit actors/productions against each other?!? That's dumb.
Initially, they were planning 2 seasons for this drama but because of new regulations in C-entertainment world, you can't have more than 40 episodes...so they cut/deleted a lot of materials *unfortunately* Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (1 episode), Friday and Saturday (none) and Sunday (2 episodes) Finale episode: May, 9th.
Have your fill with 'Love is Sweet" Same couple and lots of passionate kisses. You're welcome :D No, seriously, the drama has been pretty stingy with the kisses indeed but we're still lucky we got some (still upset with "Unchained Love" for example) Be patient, we might get another kiss in the finale.
Episode 25-26, best episodes so far...that angst arghh, loved it, give me moreee. Still can't believe I wanted to pass on this one because I loathed male lead's makeup and didn't find him attractive...and now here I am, gushing over that same male lead whose acting sends shivers down my spine *just wow* Tormented, cunning, displaying signs of vulnerability/fragility...you can't help but root for him. All those emotions are perfectly portrayed by Luo Yunxi. I just can't get enough of him (watching 'Love is Sweet' to have my fix , yeah I'm that sold ) He's such a gifted actor and I regret not giving him a chance earlier on tbh... and guess what, I even find him attractive/handsome/charming now. Bailu is very good as well and their chemistry is off the charts.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (1 episode), Friday and Saturday (none) and Sunday (2 episodes) Finale episode: May, 9th.
Scheduled on 23/4. We finally have a date *relieved*, I'm so happy. Can't wait to meet Cheng Jia Shu and Lin Hua Jun🥹
