The ex-secretaries seem too naive to be doing such extreme things. The drama showed us all of their schemes so far which were more lighthearted and petty. Segi was already on the plane though so how would he have been in Gangneuing to see Gojin after the accident?

I agree with your theory there is some resentment there but he seems more like Sina where he curses Gojin's arragonce on the inside but still cares about him. Or maybe he wouldn't mind it if he died but also wouldn't mind if he was alive. Either way he gets to make money? Maybe thats why some people don't feel genuine concern from him. Either way, its impossible that he was the watch dude (so far). They'll probably reveal more clues.

Her acting really does fit the SFL in makjangs. Maybe she should've kept that route and gotten herself established as the villain everyone roots for bc of how good they are like Lee Yoo Ri? It just seems like people saw her face and typecast her into these melodrama + romance roles that do not fit her at all. As another person said, she definitely does not seem like your average girl who is just BFFs with a dude or goes around being a gaslighting victim like she did in Nevertheless.

lmao. Vincenzo is another run of the mill crime/revenge drama. There's literally nothing special about it. It's just as smuch of a cliche as "dumb" romcoms. It's also super popular here so if you're saying Vincenzo is also a "dumb," overhyped drama then you're not wrong. I would disagree on the dumb part because it just depends on a person's preference and has nothing to do with their intelligence. I don't want to insult others just bc I don't enjoy the same dramas as them. But Vincenzo IS a very popular and overhyped show so this is just a case of pot calling the kettle black.

It's an objectively well-made quality drama though and I feel like "popular dramas that didn't catch your attention" equates to overhyped dramas and I really think it deserves all the hype it gets. There are so many dramas (some in this list) that get more hyped than NIF despite being low in quality while Nirvana in Fire is one of those dramas that has a cult following but is still not that popular with the mainstream audiences. Props to everyone who worked on it. It didn't do much for me though kind of like Secret Love Affair, but I could definitely see the quality. Its current status perfectly fits its quality.

Though I think that Segi could be involved in some way but he is definitely not the guy with the watch. Maybe its the ex girlfriend's assistant's watch? What if she's behind all of it? We know she just decided to join the private education sector and Gotop is her top competitor, not to mention we don't know how they broke up. Maybe its revenge? I feel she was planning a revenge at first but then after finding out he has amnesia, she decided to get back with him?

Somebody mentioned that the stalker might actually be a woman whose diagnosis got messed up with Sina's and the stalker is the one dying. She's counting down the days until her death hence the D-60 thing she writes on Gojin's pics. This theory honestly seems more believable and in line with what's been happening in the drama than Segi being watch dude.

It's too obvious and on the nose. He's also the only character besides the main couple who appears in the opening so it is just predictable. He seems to have been doing perfectly fine letting Gojin be the face and take care of the PR and other operations. Also didn't think about how he would basically be dooming Gotop by killing Gojin and as we saw in the aftermath of Gojin's accident, he had to take care of everything and genuinely seemed stressed and relieved at Gojin being alive rather than celebrating it. He's also the only competent person there who isn't a spy for other people and cares about the company.

I do think he isn't as nice as he seems but that's just called good social skills (Gojin could use some but bc he's a jerk, he got so many murder suspects XD). His basically being the company's PR person makes sense if you consider that. He definitely does seem to keep Gojin at an arm's length and sees him as the company's face first and a brother second (which also isn't really shady bc Gojin is an arrogant jerk; how he has any friends is beyond me).

I don't really condone pressuring people into drinking alcohol but it was genuinely so funny the lengths they went to not let him drink. I also think they both learned a lesson from the last time they got drunk together.

LOL the previews really misled me. He was suspecting the gambler dude and Sina, not Segi and Sina.

So much more relatable than most FLs. If I was fake dating/engaged to a millionaire, I would be going on a shopping spree too. It's honestly how most people, not only women, in real life would act.

I love how we got so used to jerk male leads that just having someone like Segi with competent social skills who knows how to conduct business and get on the good side of their employees with gifts and stuff immediately makes him suspicious XD.

All his suspicious looks and facial expression changes seem more like Sina, where he dislikes Gojin's arrogance and is annoyed with him but still cares about him.

Srsly, to all the people suspecting Segi to be the watch guy, how would he have been there in Gangneung when he was already on a plane overseas? Unless he transported himself there or there is an evil twin brother running around that is.

The reason why the plot might seem slow to some people is bc its trying to be realistic. They wanted to show how each character is consistent with their motivations. You can tell Sina genuinely hates him and does a lot of things to torture him. Usually in dramas, before the FL even gets to get revenge, she starts falling for the ML and forgives everything he's done.

Gojin too isn't falling head over heels for her so you actually get the feeling that he never cared about her existence before. It wouldn't make sense if they suddenly started caring for each other after a couple days. Thanks to the groundwork they did for the prior episodes, them warming up to each other now is a lot more logical. Its a enemies to lovers trope done right IMO.
