I just advise keeping your expectations low bc the last 2 eps has been a let down. I wouldn't read that much into it. He seemed more betrayed than anything but we'll see.

It’s just not a big deal for some I guess. Cultural differences. The west has a sensitive history with slavery; doesn’t mean everyone else has to tiptoe around it. Just stop watching if it bothers you so much.

Romcoms can be great if they want to be, like there are actually quality romcoms out there. This is just not one of them.

I really didn't wanna resort to turning my brain off with this drama. I thought I was watching a great work of satire and even bragged about having better taste than the Business Proposal folks. Also thought Krystal had finally picked up a decent project. I'll just take the L, put on my clown costume, and continue watching.

I could really careless. It seems way too late to introduce a whole charcter arc for her. They should focus more on Gojin and Sina bc all the side characters besides Gojin's ex seem very redundant tbh. But who knows maybe she's somehow connected to the mystery. I'm just here for the romance and comedy.

I do agree it has a lot of potential and really good chemistry between the leads. I just hoped for it to be a little different from other romcoms but the makeover scene and the fake kiss plot device kind of killed that expectation. I'll still keep watching tho.

There's literally no difference between how she used to live while beliving he had amnesia vs now. She has always took care of him throughout the drama. Even when she knew she was gonna die, she cooked all that food for him. She DID ruin a bunch of his valuable property. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with ONLY him harassing her (when they both harassed each other, it was funny) but its not like he's some mother Theresa.

He is a jerk who is acting like a jerk. Its repetitive and overdone but I dont agree with the modern slavery thing. Is this really the hill you wanna die on when there are other bigger issues? Why not donate to a charity that fights against modern day slavery instead? Its not like a fictional character in a fictional drama whose character design IS to be a jerk mistreating someone is contributing to the modern day slavery problem. You can rest easy.

Eh enjoying doesn't mean consent. She was still very much in shock. From the previews, he does apologize so I'm not like trying to cancel him or this drama. They could've just went about it a better way than using the typical I need to kiss you now bc my ex is looking at me plor device.

I can see your point and now I see it's not necessarily a plothole. Its the way his suspicion was presented that I have a problem with. The scene where he interrogated her, for example. It was the exact same as how he dealt with the gambler dude, even down to the dialogue. While I can't fault him for not blindly trusting her, the writers could've handled it differently so we can see the change in their relationship. I mean the man went to her home and even saw his dead grandma in her father.

That's a whole different dynamic than the one he had with the gambler dude yet he was treating her like one of his leeches. He even threatened her dad and her home.Now they're gonna try to shove some romance in with the forced kiss and I'll try to suspend my disbelief. I just think I had way too high of an expectation, even calling it a great work of satire, and got disappointed lol.

I think letting her find out about the misdiagnosis AND revealing the amnesia part in the same episode was a VERY wrong move. Their whole dynamic depended on these two misunderstandings, not to mention they were the only two things setting them apart from the other CEOs and secretaries of dramaland.

I said that. His having that watch still doesn't prove anything. The CEO has one as well. Also doesn't change the fact Gojin is also a b*tch who doesn't know basic social skills (I don't agree with cursing someones mother especially since his is dead).

I agree with your other comment about Sinah sticking up for herself and Gojin reciprocating being the highlight of this drama. Now it's just Gojin harassing her and nothing from her end. That's what I dislike about it since its soo overdone. I loved their previous dynamic even when he was being a jerk bc she was being an as*hole too. They just really dumped her down this past two eps and there's practically no difference between how they were in ep 1 vs ep 8/9. it feels like all the character development we had has been for nothing but who knows, hoping they'll fix it in the coming eps.

There was only one kiss? Unless you mean in the previews?

Her being all insecure in the dress after modeling several high-end gowns earlier in the drama just made no sense. I even went back to that scene and lo and behold, she was wearing high heels but suddenly she can't so we can get a quick "she's not like ther girls, she's not into material things" juxtaposition with the ML's ex. News flash, women can like expensive things AND be kind too.

The way she had a total 180 in personality during that makeover scene also really baffled me. From how she was acting in the department shopping spree scene, shouldn't she be a little more confident? You're not getting kidnapped. He invited you to a fancy banquet, he calls you to a makeup salon, connect the dots, woman. They really made her all clever and mischievous only to dumb her down.

Sure, knowing she was going to die probably made her bold but it had to be a part of her personality before everything went down; she really thought super quickly on her feet with saying she was his fiance. People don't change this drastically.

He was there the entire time with her tho? Like he saw the mean things she did to him, maybe he should use his brains to realize that they were just all super petty and never that harmful? I wouldn't be complaining if he wasn't posed as some genuis Einstein person but this is just bad writing.

I want to belive its for everything he's put her through up to this point (like how he did with the former secretary) and we dial back the mistreating each other dynamic for the future eps. It was fun in the beginning bc them not caring about each other's feelings as two people with a strict superior/subordinate relationship made sense, not to mention they hated each other.

Now its just getting repetitive and undoing everything we've worked up to. It does seem to be looking that way since he asks her to dinner and there's a few almost kiss scenes.

It just makes no sense to me esp when you consider that he double checked her and there were no motives. Not to mention, she has had plenty of opportunities to kill him but it never happened. He should use his energy on Segi or the Director Ma woman.
