The way he interrogated Sina and that gambler dude were one and the same. It would've made sense if it was still ep 1 or 2 but this far into the drama AND a visiting the in-laws scene later, he still views her as no different from the many leeches in his life. Or at least that' s how it seemed to me. Even the dialogue where he goes "You're all the same. Do you think an apology is enough? You have to go to prison." In fact, that's also how he dealt with the rival CEO's wife
The Baek witch is the worst kind. Like “oh i dumped you and broke your heart while marrying someone else, now…
I mean, its also weird how Gojin acted all hurt when finding out she's Baek Edu's ceo. She doesn't owe him anything either especially since she thinks he has amnesia and he never gave her a chance to explain their complicated history. They were both being super unreasonable in that scene imo. We also don't know if she's trying to ruin his business. They are just competitors at this point and poaching educators isn't a crime. I wouldn't call her a witch.
To the people still defending Gojin's actions towards Sina and his previous secretaries, I hope you do the same with the Director Ma woman who actually has been tame to her subordinates compared to Gojin.
I'm honestly disappointed with episode 8 ngl. I want to enjoy this drama but it feels like we're just straight…
ikr. most drama leads just grab the fl and kiss them but he even acknowledged the fact he's kissing her without her permission and tries to say it's okay bc he's desperate, like what?
The part where he threatens her dad and her childhood home was just too much even if it was all empty threats. Why did they even do that after trying so hard to show us that he saw his grandma in her dad with the potatoes/onions flashback?
A plothole that bugs me is why the fck does he still suspect Sina? I thought we established that he thinks Sina doesn't have anything to do with the gambler dude he was in front of the clear board in his secret room? Even after doing the background check himself, he still suspects her. Like I thought he was supposed to be a out of this world genius dude? Another plothole is the fact both Gojin and Sina go around wearing identical rings on their ring fingers but every time, without fail, people are flabbergasted he's engaged.
This is just getting repetitive at this point. Like I get that he feels wronged and wants to get back at her but this far into the drama, the rich CEO bullies the woman who works for him thing is not working. It was fun in the beginning. No one was feeling uncomfortable because them not caring about each other's feelings as two people with a strict superior/subordinate relationship made sense, not to mention they hated each other.
Now it's just getting repetitive and undoing all the bonding moments and the character development we've worked up to. Not to mention some of it IS really creepy. When he threatens her dad and her childhood home, for example. That was just unnecessary especially after the man welcomed him into his home. The last scene in ep 9 when he says "I need your permission but I'm not gonna ask" was ugh. Like I thought we left this forceful, strong man taking what he wants trope in the 2010s. They could've just made it so she still had a little bit of the craziness she had when she thought she was dying and they both voluntarily kiss.
True, its all about double standards. One is funny, the other bullying immediately…
It’s really not that deep. A rich male CEO bullying his poor female worker is just overdone. We’ve seen it a million times already. It’s just cliche. I would‘ve just watched Business Proposal if I wanted another typical romcom. People bringing in sexism, double standards, and slavery are overreacting a bit, I agree. But you can't discount that some might see real-life parallels, especially with a situation where a male superior is bullying a female who works for him.
Not gonna lie, I did not find the "enslaving her as revenge" part funny at all. Modern slavery is a thing and…
I get your point but the part about modern day slavery is a bit over the top. This is just a drama and a romantic comedy at that. I do agree about the part where he’s acting like a victim being annoying tho. I want to smack him. 🤣
I know some people are uncomfortable with Noh Gojin bullying with Shin Ah, but that's also literally what Shin…
I think people are just sick of rich men harassing poor people, specifically women, plots. It would be the same if rich women bullying men plots were common. It’s just super cliche and not what I expected of this drama, it’s been really good at being unexpected.
IMO they went too far with the concept of bullying women. The scene with the coffee's temperature wasn't funny…
It was even more disgusting how he bought her father into it after the man let him into his home, fed him, and gave him boxes of potatoes he grew with his own hands.
You could also see the parallels with how he interrogated Sina and the gambler dude. he still mistrusts her after all that background check he himself did. Like are you sure you’re the smartest guy in the nation?
Yay finally a LMH drama where he isn't a chaebol heir ha ha. Like that it's set in space though a bit worried…
There were a few times where he was not a chaebol in Faith, City Hunter, and Personal Taste but he might as well been with how perfect and flawless his characters were. Hopefully it’s not the case with this one and he has at least a flaw.
what makes him the most unlikable character from your pov? im curious
Agreed. All 3 characters were really flawed but its not right to hate on them and list their crimes one by one. Like this isn't twitter. They're not perfect Barbie and Ken.

This is really late but... "then kissed her without consent that for me sealed the deal," do you mean when they kissed in the alleyway near her home? I'm pretty sure she agreed to kissing him. I don't actually remember an instance where he ever force kissed her.
um, i am sorry but i have just watched the first episode. NOTHING is trying to be realistic about this
I apologize. I never meant it to be condescending or anything. I just do it a lot bc I feel like I have to explain what I mean and get lazy hence the copy-pasted dictionary. I obviously have no idea whether you knew it or not as I've never interacted with you as a person. It's just something I do a lot but can see how it might come off as insulting.
I feel like replying it was satire towards your 1st comment wasn't that outrageous considering you said there was nothing realistic about it and I tried to explain that it might have been on purpose which is where the use of satire came from.
No hard feelings though. Hope you continue with the show regardless.
