100% He genuinely seems like this immortal Xianxia Chinese drama character stuck in a baby faced 19 year old's body. So out of place bc of how much the direction and writing wanted to glaze him right until the end.

Never said she's an innocent fairy. She's not a villain or the main villain of this drama bc even if she did, there are characters way worse than her y'all love and excuse their actions for bc they're rich and have cool edits, that's all.

I'm almost impressed at how unnecessarily dramatic and out of nowhere Lee Sarang and Cha Jinwook's characters have been right until the end. And all that screentime spent on romantic moments with them only to end this way lmaooo.

The writers finally read the synosis of their own show "Once again, Hye In and Jena found themselves in the center of it all," too bad it was in the last few minutes of the drama.

are you me? said everything I wanted. hyein became such a coward this season. In s1, even if she was poor and had no means of changing anything, I feel like she was clever in her own way, still kindyet unhinged.

ALSO WHY THE HELL IS THE PRINCIPAL EVERYWHERE?? Even during dinners and engagement discussions between Jena and Jinwook's families at their house, like does this man not have his own home?? He has way too much screen time. The weird principal, Jena and Jinwook's dads and her stepmom all are characters we would've been better off not seeing so much of.

the new actors feel so cartoonish to me. Especially her stepmom. I feel like the s1 actress still had a demure "I'm just a kind teacher who fell in love with your dad" vibe so there was more complexity + she seemed less easy to take down. This new mom is so obviously evil and you always know she's planning something, there's no suspense.

I wouldn't even mind the romances with the MLs if this was a longer show but this is a web drama with 10 eps. We don't need time for unnecessary gazing into each other's eyes moments. Move it along omg. S1 had "heart fluttering" moments but the plot still kept developing like Do Eun romancing Hyein just to gain info from her.

another thing about the MLs is I wish we at least had Do Eun and Somang the male characters from the 1st season here as love interests. Heck I wouldn't even mind a cheesy love triangle. I'm telling you, I feel nothing for the 2 MLs this season.

I've never seen a drama that has so much crazy things happening yet so boring + the plot not moving at the same time.

1. the male characters, especially Jinwook and Sarang are just the most useless characters but got so much screen time. The whole Black Dog + Jena's fiance's succession struggle storyline felt very removed and separate from the main plot we've followed since s1. This season should've just been the core characters with Hyein in Diamond 6, Do Eon growing feelings for her (+ Haein waking up from a coma for some light love traingle angst), the murderous couple being evil, Jena learning to have some empathy + teaming up with Hyein to destroy her stepmom.

2. Haein was such a wasted character & the actress deserves better. In s1, I thought she was your typical innocent kdrama FL character who Do Eun pursues only for her to have a cunning side. I waited for her to wake up from coma, her being against Hyein at first but eventually teaming up with her to take on the murderous couple. but she's just a complete psycopath without brains. We want a psycho bitch character with smarts which is what the writer of s1 set up only for it to cut.

3. I always thought the whole point of this show was so Jena and Hyein can become friends and teach each other stuff. Jena learning warmth and familial affection from Hyein and Hyein learning how to be more ruthless and benefitting from Jena's position as her friend. But so far not only do the 2 MAIN CHARACTERS have minimal screen time for their positions, all of their interactions together have been reduced in favor of useless romances with the MLs and there's been very little process in their dynamic considering we only have 2 eps left.

How was she supposed to pull her out of the way of a full speeding tuck? Y'all be saying anything atp.

Ew. I dislike Hae In but a rich murdering cheating asshole beating up a woman till she's a bloody pulp bc of his own manwhore-ishness backfiring on him is disgusting.

He's what Jena's boyfriend is trying so hard to be. So Mang's actor just had this natural cool and mysterious vibe about him and even tho he basically did nothing beyond hang out in the restroom in s1, he clearly was a scene stealer for a lot of people.

It doesn't help that the FL's love interest is kinda boring and Jena's love interest is a goofy high schooler acting like a middle aged man fighting for his dad's company.

Idk how to describe it but everything about him comes off so try-hard and cheesy like the directors know people will be making edits about him on tiktok and every scene is to showcase how cool and hot he is.

1st season's biggest strength was they never got too deep into the romance but now they're just shoving 2 romantic lines at us like how does this even contribute to the story?

I loved season1 but the 1st 2 eps of this season was just not it. Way too many new characters i dont really care about and the FL doesn't have much screentime. why are we focusing so much on the principal and that new guy Jena is engaged to? Also the forced romance between these 2 is too much when it's just him shoving her against the wall lol.

idk if it's just me but the FL feels less unhinged than before too. her craziness is what made the 1st season fun but she feels tamer now. It was over all a very boring start. Hope it gets better from now.
