Wait I see you haven't seen it yet, but there's a lot of backstory beyond the main love triangle (some side characters have way too much screentime imo). And more I don't want to spoil but I don't think the love triangle is their whole personality.

Also love triangles can be a catalyst for personal development and changing friendship dynamics. On the surface it's a love traingle but we can see the things each character values based on how they react to the conflict of loving the same person as your bff imo.

I mean it's up to you if you want to watch it and I'm not a big fan of the Ml and felt somewhat lukewarm towards the show but the the new eps and the previews got the next ep gives me hope.

Kim Goeun is just such a good actress. Cannot wait to see her in Yumi's Cells (with Kim Jaewon!)

Also I'm not getting where people are seeing this big "emotional depth" between Jaepil and Jonghui. Their scenes are just very "going through the motions" and hitting all the scripted kdrama lovey dovey scenes with no real chemistry to me. Their argument at the cafe made me feel nothing. I don't see Yeong Rye and Jaepil together either. The writers are definitely trying to make Jaepil into this heart throb 1st love from Yong Rye's POV but he comes off charmless.

I don't mind the love triangle at all and watched it for the angst and messy love lines but the ML is just not giving. Compare him to the ML in You and Everything Else who instantly became such a charismatic figure and made his scenes with both FLs interesting and Jaepil just falls flat. When he's trying to be all sad and emotional, it feels awkward for some reason.

Sure but why watch a love traingle show and expect it to focus on the girl's friendship and individual development and "not the love traingle?"

You know, the head bus attendant getting hit and the strike was a heartwarming plotline but it feels kind of disconnected from the main characters? I'm just not getting how that incident changed the characters' relationships with each other beyond building up to the manager attacking the FL. Feels like too much screentime was spent on the bus company and its employees in general instead of building up the many love lines we have. I wish the FLs relationships were a bit more complex too.

So far I'm liking the timeskip. Not only do we finally leave the ensemble cast of the bus company behind, but the FL feels a lot more confident and grown, there's the mystery of what happened to what character and how their relationships developed over the years. Plus the hairstyles are so much better.

Ma Sangcheol is a side character, of course he would get less screentime than the literal ML of the drama. I'm not a big fan of the ML either but this is a weird thing to critisize. If the side characters got too much screen time while the main characters didn't, that would be bad. Even if he's super boring, he's still the ML and will get more screentime. I actually think they gave that pregnant bus attendant and bus driver way too much screentime when this is only a 12 ep drama and should've focused more on the main character's relationships.

Another law related kdrama. Interesting how Sooyoung is actually an idol but in both this drama and So I Married an Anti-Fan, her MLs are the idols.

For a show called BITCHxrich, there was an awful lot of glazing of male characters and side lining/dumbing down female leads so they can be saved by the MLs.

Honestly why is Cha Jinwook even attending school with all this power he has? He should be out there conquering the world at this point. And I fear my joke about a 3rd Lee Sajang brother chasing after the FL in season 3 might actually become true.

Yeah Lee Eun Saem is a great actress but a lot of the viewers of this drama are either kpop fans who like Jena's acress Red Velvet's Yeri OR teens who like visuals and hype her up bc she's more conventionally attractive. I wantedto mention that in my review but forgot. Min Yulhee actress was really good. Lee Somang, the ML from season 1 was the best actor. Don't get me started on this baby faced main guy who's not selling the bad boy character at all.

I like love traingles. What's wrong with them? China has banned the FL being in love with 2 guys and it just restricts storytelling imo.

I am calm. I also am a luvie. You wording of "she's the main villian fr" implied she was the worst out of every other character. If I say something is a main attraction, I mean it's the thing that draws the most attention.
