well the characters were teenagers actually so they had to leave their hair down because they were not married. married characters had their hair up

this drama is very comfortable to watch, but i hope it will have a strong and memorable ending to make a strong lasting impression on viewers and actors of course everyone knows they are good

hahaha im not offended i just wanted to inform because it is way diffierent from heirs and a little wierd story because the lead actor is the hero as well as villian of the series in typical way

Heirs and reply series sorry but this is incomparable to those two .First 5 ep of this are slowand show peaceful life of palace and this kind of drama is not every ones cup of tea but this drama is nowhere comparable to heirs or reply series they as different as heaven and hell lol by the end of this drama people beg or wish it was like first episodes this is based on a famous novel so the starting was slow depending on the novel but it's hell of roller coster once they all grow up in short this is nowhere even in dreams similar to heirs
Because it's not draggy after ep 5 and you will know hell of wierd human emotions after seeing this which you dint know existed in humans haha

this is one of the the very few dramas which does not require romance to spice up the plot but dont give up because there is not much romance becuse the character development and story are unique on its own

yes the only thing which seems odd in this drama is the fashion sense which obviously is a decade old. dont be dissapointed by slow starting three episodes because it gets super awesome after that which is a general thing for LJK drama. this drama was made 10 years ago so cliches were not really cliches at that time actually there are not so many clitches. but the fights are just awesome very rare to see some real fight scenes in ksramas not long poses but actual quick and real fights

this is a near perfect drama for me 99.999% flawless and people who are thinking to skip because there is no romance do give it a chance because non romance dramas have their own charm. there are very few dramas like this

the hero says that he will first stand on his own feet and make something of his career for himself so that he can be a proud father. the second lead lets go of the heroine because he knows she still loves him and the daughter also loves her father. thankfully i dint have second lead syndrome.

it is worth watching. i cannot say its flawless and excellent but worth watching

no wonder he rejected the offer two times. its nothing different. all that was good were the actors and the beautiful scenery

its not a bad drama its good actually its just that people expect it to be unique special and BOMB because its JUN ji hyun and lee min ho

we cried because it left a unhealable scar in our hearts but the original had second season after three years so we are having little hope in having season 2 but this drama was a flop in korea so we are confused wether we will have asecond season or not

next episode he realises his mistake but his princely pride does not allow him to say direct sorry. the story is conflicted and a little wierd because he stays extreme till the end wether its love or hatred or justice but he surely is not a bad person and is a tamable beast. this drama shows it. he does not abuse her later but becomes soft only infront of her. warning be ready to face the roller coster of emotions you face from ep 10

because that is how humans are and this show shows that. the main lead has his bad points and also has his good points which are showed after ep 10. the second lead has his good points and bad points which are shown after ep 10. even female lead has her own good and bad points. that is why people love this show because it does not show your dream man or dream woman as leads. it shows them as humans with faults just like us humans. and the character of main lead cant be changed he is described as cruel but not a bad person in novel as well as history. infact by the end you will realise that even if the lead is half crazy he is the most sane and right person to handle palace which makes many people crazy.....the truth and the only person who does justice without punishing or sacrificing someone innocent. ah and at last you will realise that he is the only person among brothers who actually cares about his innocent brothers while others are ready to kill each other LOL

its an adaptation not remake. you should have said you dont see him as any character your comment kind of sounded like he is given roles because of his popularity. no offence but your actually comment gave that kind of vibe
