i think you should be looking at the context of that time, also YL hold a very strong title of 'God of War'…
I am looking at the context of the time. There are many historical female leaders and Queens who have ruled even with rebellious officials and strong oppositions. Is it fair to interrupt someone's life who is already willing to fight for you no strings attached for the sake of power? Maybe if she and her brother cannot wield it then they shouldn't be in charge after all.
Yuan Ling achievements are his own. He is no matter if he is God of war he is still human. Each time he goes into battle there is a potential for death. The one thing he has for himself is the love he has for Qing Chen.
No matter how I look at it, it was a selfish request.
He dreamt the same dream she had except his dream was the day after and his dream compared to hers was longer…
I don't know if you remember but the restaurant scene happened twice. That's why he tried to stop the date from happening. The first part it was his dream and the second part it was real life.
The obsessive love in Chinese drama are always so unrealistic to me. I could never marry a man knowing that I am keeping him from his happiness. Duo Xia's reason for marriage now shows her inability to govern the stability of your own tribe. A wise leader doesn't need a mans reputation to keep things together. The writers are so close to failing me when they have been doing well.
This got me already hooked up.Sad that this drama choose the 4 episodes a week format. I don't like how the…
He dreamt the same dream she had except his dream was the day after and his dream compared to hers was longer and much more detailed. Her dream was just her in the hospital learning that her mom died because of the accident she caused.
He dreamt about her date, her freaking out about her mom, leaving the restaurant, letting the guy drive, getting into an accident, waking up 10 months later and being investigated.
Since his dream was more detailed he knew when to intervene and change her future from happing.
I don't know why they both had visions/dreams, maybe the summary wasn't translated correctly.
I am quite proud of Suzy on her improvement, this the first drama that she is actually convinced me that she is the character she is playing. Especially her chemistry with her mom. Frankly I am actually relieved by her growth as an actress. Keep it up!
I am sad to admit my ship has officially wrecked ep 32. I cannot forgive the King, :/ Now it's gonna be awkward...
Yes, I agree with this. She did it behind his back and proceeded to hide it even after the prince had safely gotten away. She should have trusted that he would understand after she told him the truth.
I think its better they spend some time apart. She really is his weakness and as a king with many citizens to careful he needs to always have his guard up at all times even with the woman you love.
I can't even deal with his ex wife right now. I have zero sympathy for her.
By episode 25 it becomes obvious that she likes him, at the end of episode 29 he realizes his feelings for her and episode 30 they officially get together
Caution, this rant spoils the ending of the drama so read at your own risk.
Yo screw this drama, I hate it when a drama is perfectly lovely until the writers manage to screw it up in the end. It had som much potential. What I would like to understand is why in the world would a man get back to the woman who left him for his best friend, yes she had a good reason to do it but it doesn't change the pain of watching your wife of 10 years marry your asshole best friend who basically ruined your life. She slept with him everyday and lived with him and basically embarrassed because she was in a better financial situation.
Then the woman you turn to gives you refuge and warmth and consoles you and gives you back your confidence, gives you motivation and turns you into the man you couldn't be when you are with your wife.
All in the end to leave that woman for the wife that left you for your best friend because he is an ass and was sent to jail and she's terminally ill? Oh HELL NO.
He owed her nothing, she made her own decisions and if the price she pays is to die alone then so be it.
Such an incredibly sweet love story with such a potential ruined by a foolish sense to redeem himself to a woman who shouldn't matter.
My advise is end the show at episode 42
I have never respected a second male lead before. Accepting the fact that someone doesn't love love you so amicably. I do feel bad for him because QC indirectly gave him hope but strictly rejecting YL instead of admitting she cared for him and come up with an excuse like she doesn't want to be involved with the royal family.
The princess get annoying like if someone doesn't like me and tells me the do not that ends the discussion.
I am more curious about why Lin Yuan's mother is okay with him choosing QC when she hates the mages?
Not that I support Infidelities but Pim might as well left candles and sexy music for her Husband and best friend. She needs some cold water thrown in her face. Almost everyone is warning her about Rerng but she still lets her friend come in between her marriage.
Like I just got married and I am gonna see my husband constantly mad because of a friend? Oh hell no.
to be frank with you i dont know why she went back to him at the end. that's the old version i am talking…
I am actually hoping that she gets close to Rerng's ex husband and they end up together. Those two kindred hurt souls. But you are right Pim will stay with him and Rerngs husband will forgive her and take her back.
One he played a high school/wanted criminal
Second he played an Orphaned rich Billionaire whose a comic
Third he is playing a prosecutor who dreams of the future.
Already looking forward to the fourth.
Maybe if she and her brother cannot wield it then they shouldn't be in charge after all.

The crown prince willingly gave up the throne for love instead of fighting for both so I guess it doesn't really make him a good candidate.
