I would agree with your point that he was a cheating scum were it not considered for the fact that HE DIDNT WANT TO SLEEP WITH BOONYI and he actually didn’t sleep with her. She could have talked to him and shared her feeling of jealousy and asked him not to sleep with him not to sleep with her. He being a noble guy who respected her despite her cruel behavior I’m sure he would have told her that he had no plans to do so. She jumped to her own conclusions and betrayed him because she put it into her own head that he cheated on her when he didn’t.
Also he couldn’t control the fact that there was going to be a surrogate mother just as much as she couldn’t control it herself either. Sharon turned BoonYi to be her husband’s wife with her own words. So really who betrayed who first? You are falsely arrested and thrown in jail and tortured, the police go to your house to get your wife and interrogate her to see if you are guilty or innocent. Instead she sends a servant girl to replace her because she wants no part of it. She could have gone and did the same thing BoonYi did but she didn’t. I’m sorry but I’m the laws eyes BoonYi became his wife when the govt tortured her as his wife.
You like her yes, she has a vulnerability that draws people to her side. However she betrayed him first.
This drama leaves me with more questions like Why is she still married to the scum bag? Why hasn’t he started his revenge ? Why isn’t she pissed for setting them up together knowing he was a scum? When is something interesting going to happen?
My biggest issue with Sharon (from the past) is that’s she doesn’t see slaves as human beings with feelings. Which is part of the reason she accuses her husband of being Catholic. She burned an innocent girls face for trying on her clothes. She has no emphathy for others and has a narcissistic personality. The fact that Boonyi could read and knew more about the government structure seriously insulted her. Like how dare a slave know more than her. She simply could have tried studying more herself to know more about the government. However she didn’t because she had no interest. Boonyi studies because she had interest in it.

Even though Boonyi and Hera are not the same person, she calls Hera a slave twice before she is told about how they were switched at birth. That’s just her nature, she doesn’t reflect but focuses on others as the problem and not herself.
Boonyi is not the person that betrayed her. She was forced to become a surrogate mother (as a slave she had no choice) ofcourse I’m sure she didn’t hate spending the night with him.
Sharon herself rejected being the wife of the House. She rejected her own husband and escaped torture. (I don’t blame her tho, a girl has to whatever she needs to survive) but the consequences were that she lost her husbands respect the only thing that kept him next to her. You reap what you sow.
Her husband leaving her after rejecting him to the government was her Karma. Boonyi took him as her husband, was tortured for him, so she went and claimed her man.

No I do understand but it took 7 episodes to finally be able to approach her family. Like two episodes I can understand but come on girl, build some strength up and face everything head on.
l have a theory about Woo Tak. He is color blind and there is a green ambrella connected to Yu bum and the doctor that committed suicide.
