how come you rate 10 for drama with not yet finish aired?
Well ignore those excessive ratings. The 10s for unaired episodes I can still understand because it comes from wanting to support their favourite actors or actresses (although excessive), but for 1s for unaired episodes, that's just quite low tbh and comes from hate.

Ohh but you said that his dramas are so similar lately. How is Journey of Legend similar to this if I may ask you to clarify? I'm quite curious because I've watched finish JoL and I'm up to date with SaB.
After a few episodes, I'm... bored :/ C-dramas with Cheng Yi are so similar lately :/ Is it going to be all pathetic…
I'm genuinely curious. Which Cheng Yi dramas are so similar? Journey of Legend and Sword and Beloved are so different. Or if you are referring to Mysterious Lotus Casebook, how is it similar? You can put a spoiler comment, if its spoilers.
Edit: Or are you talking about Immortal Samsara since that was a Xianxia. Actually which other Xianxias did he act in? Love and Redemption?
I really like the relationship between the leads. Nowadays, there are many romance cdramas where the romance is so fast and intense, which I know are some people's preferences, nothing wrong with that. However, I really really love those kind of healthy, trusting, gentle, yet strong kind of love. This drama shows that so well. Qing Tong and Fu Gui are happy with each others' presence and company. Those gentle looks and protectiveness they have for each other makes me feel so happy. I get that this kind of romance may be boring for some, but to me, this is a treasure 😭🥺
Guyss I love this couple so much! They are such a green flag couple, there's no miscommunications or misunderstandings (so far). I love how protective Fugui is of Qing Tong. Like what Rumu said, Fugui will cherish whatever friendships/relationships he has because he doesn't have many in the first place. For characters like Fugui, I think that when he loves someone, he really loves them very very deeply. I am looking forward to more Fugui x Qingtong scenes 🥺
I am also so impressed with Qing Tong's character so far. Let's be real, how many of us in her situation can do what she did? Despite being a weak spider demon and being threatened with her brother's life, she found a way where she can save her brother and also save Fugui. She poisoned herself too and lied to Madam Yin?! And then she was so adamant on going to Fugui even when she was heavily poisoned and with the Wangquan family disciples surrounded her. I don't know if I can even do that. She represents that even "weak" and "adorable" characters can also be strong in their own way.
On a side note, I'm actually scared that Qing Tong's brother will turn out bad...
Please I need someone to explain....is this a continuation of LIP....cause am seeing flash back or is LIP the…
Truthfully in my opinion, watching Love in Pavilion will definitely help your understand the situation in SaB better. There are flashbacks of LiP in SaB but I think it's not sufficient to understand what really happened.
I watched LiP and now I am able to make a lot of connections as to what is going on in SaB. For example, what is up with Wangquan Hongye (the dad), why is Fugui's mother refered to as a concubine, what's going on with Yiqi alliance etc.
It depends on how well you are able to enjoy and understand SaB with or without watching LiP. It's up to your personal preference! Some people prefer to just watch SaB without LiP and just rely on the flashbacks.
Err they changed some stuff from the donghua and between Sword and Beloved and Love in Pavilion. Short answer…
She belongs to the lowest of all demons, a weak spider demon. But precisely because she is weak, she's able to make Fugui know that not all demons are evil, there's also weak demons like her who are just trying to survive. Also, even though she doesn't have a powerful background, she's quite a strong character!

I'm not sure what you mean. Manhua (漫画) is basically Chinese manga/comics. Are you misunderstanding it with "Danmei" or am I misunderstanding your question?
In dongua , most of the events happen in modern world. The scenes we saw in three dramas are old versions of modern…
Actually, the name for Sword and Beloved 狐妖小红娘:王权篇 changed to 天地剑心 (completely eliminating Fox Spirit Matchmaker in the Chinese title) is because fans begged WYX. Due to the previous two series not doing that well in China (LiP was decent but donghua fans did not like that they added too many extra lovelines and time travel), fans were afraid that donghua fans would hate the changes made to Sword and Beloved. So the title change has nothing to do with the ending actually。

Yes I also agree that WYX did well on this! Wumu is a very popular character and I cried so much for him in the donghua. With the difference in names, I can at least treat them as separate entities haha like donghua Wumu and drama Rumu (both I adore)
Did anyone else picked up on the subtle jealousy scenes or am I thinking too much?? Fugui got a little jealous when that Piao Piao dude said Qingtong's red dress looks pretty. I'm loving those subtle scenes so much! 😍😊
Hahaha I actually do agree with you for most part, but for this specific drama, I actually think a redemption…
No worries, I totally understand you! If you do have time to spare, you can give LiP a second chance! It has its flaws but there are also a lot of interesting and fun (also depressing) scenes later on! The cast also makes it enjoyable!
Chang Huasen and Zhang Kaiying characters are a couple according to the manhua! Not sure if there'll be additional secondary couples in this adaptation.
One personal gripe i have with these, i think its cliche already, is that father/mother basically abuses their…
Hahaha I actually do agree with you for most part, but for this specific drama, I actually think a redemption arc would be good. I'm not sure if you watched Love in Pavilion, but Wangquan Hongye's character is quite complex. He was brought up in the very prestigious Wangquan clan but lost his father (the clan head) early on. Many elders and bad people in Wangquan clan tried destroying him and his sister, so Hongye grew up scheming and calculative, but at the same time he has a kind heart. Unfortunately, that kind heart became his weakness and he experienced a massive and painful tragedy leading to the current situation now...Not only that, but he saw the future of the world (in LiP) too which made him all the more the way he is to Fugui.
