I also want to say that I really like the part where Xiao Qiushui confronted Liu Suifeng and Song Mingzhu in that cave place, and even though his enemies were in front of him and he could ask about his parents, as soon as he heard Tang Fang's voice, he abandoned them and went towards her. Finding his parents' body and revenge is important, but I really love it when he prioritises his friends and family (unlike Xiao Yiren). XQS also did not hesitate to jump down that trap door to check if Tang Fang is okay and brought her out. The slight romance in this drama is done pretty well, I can actually see that the characters care for each other. I actually don't mind if they end up tgt or not, as long as XQS is happy 🥺

HAHA yes! So far, I've always seen people call her crazy, but noone can ever say she is not beautiful 🤣

Also, adding on, it's because Xiao Yiren was more promising than his siblings back then. I think in the recent eps, Nangong guy or Tang guy said that in the Xiao Family, only Xiao Yiren can be considered skilled. He also was the one who followed his father in the Jianghu and made a small name for himself by helping in his father's deeds. Of course, as viewers, we know that is BS, the youngest son, Xiao Qiushui has grown up now and is more talented than his brothers hahaha

Omg yes I want more of LCZ and his wifeee. I feel like they are a couple who has been through a lot together, and silence is like comfort. Their love for each other need not be expressed by passionate actions.

And Song Mingzhu reminds me of Jiao Liqiao from MLC. Both are like crazily in love with their leader but their leader doesn't even care about them. Song Mingzhu is less crazy than Jiao Liqiao though, that woman is batshit crazy.

Do yall think Xiao Qiushui and Li Chenzhou (maybe Liu Suifeng too) will ever work together? I feel like there is gonna be a common enemy and they are gonna protect the country.

On a side note, Xiao Qiushui is seriously charismatic in ep 24. Call me a fangirl, but I will legit fall in love with him if I'm Tang Fang 🤣🤣 Him in the mask is so cool too 🤩 I loved that scene where he messes with Liu Suifeng on purpose, making him lift the carriage.

That was what I was thinking too! There's no way XQS will let such a disgusting thing happen in front of him even if it is his enemy. At that moment, XQS is still quite weak and has been hit by that crying dude.

Oh yes I do agree with you it is nowhere near being a budget drama. My point was just that it just did not reflect a S+ standard in terms of production (or at least in my opinion). It is pretty good so far but there are some flaws. My bad too, I just did not want to be group as a hater because I really do love and support this drama.

So far, the promotion has been tanked by Cheng Yi alone, with some other actors of support characters (e.g. Xiao brothers, Tang Rou and another of XQS's sword brother). Li Kaixin I can understand why she is not active, she still needs to lay low because of the incident (even though it has been resolved). But what about Gulinezha, Xu Zhenxuan, or even Liu Mengrui? 🤔 Instead on Hello Saturday, the minor character bad Tang Clan girl promoted the show alongside with Cheng Yi and Crazy Yan.

I kind of questioned her motives too. XQS even asked her to pass on a message to LSF and Li Chen Zhou. She could've warned LSF about XQS's new power, but she chose to lie. Is it out of gratitude or is it because she was afraid LSF will be pissed at her and not let her work under him anymore? I'm not sure...

Just watched ep 21 and 22! I have to say I am eating up all of Li Chenzhou and Chen Shirong's appearances. Chen Shirong is so beautiful and graceful. Li Chen Zhou is also sooo graceful and elegant 🤩

Am glad Xiao Qiushui is getting stronger. As a Wuxia fan, it's quite funny to see how those powerups, it's really quite a true Wuxia. Excited to see more of his growth!

Please read my comment carefully. I did not say it's low budget, I just said that the production does not reflect it being S+ budget standard. Do read my other reply as well on why I think that way. However, I am NOT being a hater of this drama. I love CY and this drama and has made many comments supporting this drama. I'm just sharing an objective viewpoint. Because when some people think of S+ budget, they think of beautiful aesthetics like Love Between Fairy & Devil, My Journey to You etc.

Of course, aesthetics doesn't = high budget. But I'm sharing why some people may feel that way. Also, I know that there are indeed malicious haters purposefully attacking the drama, but I'm talking about why some normal people may think it's not a S+ budget drama.

Oh don't worry, I'm not offended. I love this drama, but I'm really sad that the production don't look as good as what it's supposed to be (S+). Costumes do look quite decent, but I feel like the editing/post-production is lacking. Nowadays, viewers are attracted to aesthetic looking scenes and are quick to make judgements on whether a drama is good or not by looking at the background. Some of the backgrounds look quite fake/unappealing like the fight scene with Fu Tianyi.

Personally, I'm okay with because I like plot/characters more. But a lot of haters on Weibo are emphasising how bad the production is for a S+ drama. And although the costumes are decent, some people may find too bright/pastel-ish colours cheap, giving off the impression of cheap production.

Also, there were apparently 3 scenes where the script is seen and other scenes where the actors are wearing modern shoes. These were all spot by haters and the script topic has been trending (even until now) on Weibo to attack CY as being unprofessional. I even have a feeling this might be intentionally done by his company to sabotage him because it obviously looks like a practice shot not the actual shot that was edited in the drama.

I'm not a hater btw, I love this drama. But I gotta say the above may be the reasons why people think it's a "cheap" production. Nowadays, people love aesthetics more than plot.
