Liu Suifeng mentioned it before too in the earlier episodes, and he said that only the 8 Kings know the faces of Li Chenzhou and that if they were to see XQS, they will not recognise him as LCZ.

It's a standalone, but it will be difficult to understand if you did not watch Part 2: Love In Pavilion. I'll recommend you to watch Love in Pavilion first because the MC in Sword and Beloved (this drama) is the son of the ML and FL in Love in Pavilion. A lot of things happened in Love in Pavilion which will cause the circumstances in this drama.

Actually I think hints have been placed in throughout the episodes we have now. In Liu Suifeng's room, the wall behind him has many Chinese characters. So far I've seen "雅" (elegance), "忠" (loyalty), "仁” (benevolence/kindness), "德" (moral/virtue), "安" (peace) and "正" (righteousness). The wall is so interesting because I don't see "权" or "利" which means power and benefit. It's quite funny that this wall is in Liu Suifeng's room.

Was the Power Gang's purpose good at first?

HAHA I think an ordinary person might, but Qiushui probably has an innate talent and affinity for martial arts. Back then during the Xiao Family fight, the two seniors were also surprised!

Also guyss, Zhao Shirong is so beautiful 😭😭😭 She literally emits a graceful and gentle but strong aura at the same time?! How??? She doesn't look weak at all which I find that some dramas struggle to portray a balance between being gentle and strong. Li Chenzhou you better appear, my attention is stolen by your wife 😭

MLC did not have any promotion or attention during its airing period, it only got attention after the drama finished airing for months.

I think the best we can do is ignore the ratings rn and keep churning out positive discussions about the drama to make passerbys interested!! If people see the ratings, they'll look at the comments too. Majority of us are enjoying the drama and filling up the comments section with discussions 👍 Ignore those hater accounts blatantly dragging other celebrities into this, they just want attention.

Not likely to be Sancai as he really is the NPC character that XQS wrote in his fanfic (the world he transmigrated in). Sancai knows some modern stuff because he truly is the character XQS wrote. XQS wrote a self-insert fanfic of the novel. Feng Lang and San Cai are the characters he wrote to help his self-insert.

Not like to be Li Chenzhou too imo, LCZ seems to be a good guy despite his Power Gang doing some shady stuff. LCZ also said someone impersonated him.

Another explanation is because the 8 seniors said that have fought to exhaustion (damaged meridians) and are unlikely to survive the day. In many Wuxia series, passing on your lifelong martial arts is like passing on your legacy. It's often thought of to be a waste if you (an expert) just die off without have disciples or passing your skills down. And it's also not likely to pass skills down to just anyone, the person who is receiving it must have some sort of innate talent.

^This logic is not absolute but comes from my experience of reading/watching the old Wuxia series.

I honestly hope that he will turn down that masked guy's offer but tbh it doesn't look optimistic 🥲

Ep 28's trailer shows the masked guy with the distorted voice talking to Xiao Yiren and convincing him to help him and then he (masked guy) will help Xiao Yiren.

If I'm not wrong, the costume team is the same as MLC. I did see netizens comparing screenshots of the costumes. I think Kang Chuyu or Sword King (can't remember) was wearing an exact same outfit as Di Feisheng 🤣🤣

I get the hate for Liu Suifeng, not defending him, but so far it's uncertain if he and the Power Gang were really the ones who murdered Xiao Parents and the Huanhua Sect. Cue the mysterious mask guy. Also, I have a feeling that this drama is not going to go down on a purely revenge path if that's the kind of drama you like. The overall message of this drama has always been righteousness and chivalry. If LSF and Power Gang are not responsible for Xiao parents' deaths, most likely he won't be killed by XQS. LSF may die in some other way though idk.

I don't see anyone talking about this or I may have missed it (please forgive me if I did), but a few episodes back when Xueyu was talking to Xiao Yiren, she mentioned her childhood and that she has an older biological brother. Could she really be Crazy Yan's sister? But Crazy Yan does look kinda old while Xueyu is only a little older than Qiushui.

If she's not Crazy Yan's sister, I wonder why her childhood was mentioned. She also mentioned about playing in a courtyard which means she was sort of rich? And if Xiao Father (forgot his name) adopted her, how did he get to know her? It could be that Xueyu is a Jianghu friend's daughter, but what about her brother? What about her parents, how did she lose them? I wonder if they'll tap on it in the future 🤔🤔

Technically it was Madam Tang that gave the order, but XQS did flick a tiny pebble to hit the person carrying the carriage, causing Madam Tang to change the person with the next person (LSF)? Or did I interpreted it wrongly 😅

Sorry I keep having so many things to say hahaha. Today's episodes give me the impression that Liu Suifeng is the kind of guy that even though he does not like/love you, you are not allowed to have feelings for another person. I think I remember in the earlier episodes when we first saw red phoenix and with purple phoenix's betrayal, LSF said smth like his subordinates are not allowed to have feelings for other men.

I don't know what to feel about that. I know quite some fans in China are shipping the two together because they look good together, but with the way LSF treats SMZ, I cannot see them tgt at all.
