Title Fated Hearts
Controversial, but I really think this is a good example of what shouldn't have been an idol drama. I would have…
Agree on Chen Heyi, not a very experienced actor maybe and way too young for the role. He is meant to own the death camp and supposedly save FL and her 2 comrades from there, but they all look older than him. I liked the ML, he showed more ferocity and was more appropriate for his role, but still looked younger than FL, because he is younger...lol I would have liked Liu Xueyi in that role, he's same age as Li Qin and lot more appropriate. Cdrama been having a lot of young male actors being paired with much older FLs... It doesn't always work.

I know its Dang Gise, but I was asking who the 4th one is. Its Tal Tal but never confirmed his love to her.

Is there a chance that this show will become available on other streaming sites like Viki? The reason I’m asking…
same, it goes too quick. I am watching it on Bilibili, and have to rewind constantly. I have thought of slowing down to 0,5, but then going to take ages to watch this drama. I guess nothing we can do about it.

Is this worth watching? The first 3 eps are so boring
nah.... i'm on ep 13, its dragging and boring. Don't recommend. But I will finish it cause I want to see the villains dragged out of the house and want to see what the surgery does to FL.

ep14: FL is refusing to get surgery because she is worried she will loose her memories... really, you have like 2 months to live and you worry about some damn memories.. The memories are more important than the rest of your life? Kdrama writers really annoy me sometimes.

this getting an 8.7 is the very reason why kdramas will never evolve or promote decent writing.
yes I was enjoying this but at ep13, starting to get bored. The episodes are so long, and so much unnecessary side stories... I am just fast forwarding now, cause I want to finish it. The plot is just not that interesting. I don't understand the 8,7 rating at all.

i know it's unfair tocompare cdrama and kdramas in historical fiction. but accept that cdramas in making long…
I have watched many cdrama, some of the most annoying was Princess Weiyoung, very similar to Empress Ki in plot. The actress had terrible voice and the dubbing in general is awful. All the scheming just became annoying...cdrama usualy add meaningless dragging plotlines, more so than kdrama. Another one is General and I, where some meaningless love triangle plot started midway and they dragged that thing to beyond 60 episodes and the ML and FL didn't even see each other for 20 episodes. Plus the actress can't act but at least she looks pretty, it was only saved by the 2 MLs. Wallace Chung, best cdrama actor for sure! Still awfully long drama, very unnecessary. Thankfully recently they have started the restrictions, now no more than 40 episodes allowed. Finally, those annoying extra storylines will be gone. Stil some drama include season 2.... more milking of money...

Title Empress Ki
it really heavy and have a sad ending
You'd be missing out on an amazing drama, beautiful costumes and cinematography, and not to mention amazing acting skills. Love triangle is there, but I don't think its annoying. Its part of the story. Besides this drama is loosely based on true story. A korean girl did become concubine to the Yuan emperor, she was his favourite concubine, she later became an Empress. And took over the court and ruled the country.

That and the ml being so controlling. This drama didn’t age well and 9 years old
its great drama. What you mean didn't age well? It still attracts a lot of attention, Park HaeJin star power is just rising. I don't think ML is that controlling, if you want to see real abuse and control, watch Love In sadness, for comparison.

The story looked interesting, too bad they pushed 2nd ml's story too much and gave little time for 1st so watching…
From what I understand, they were filming the last few episodes while they were already airing, and the viewers seem to be more positive to 2nd ML. I guess the Seo Kang Jun fans came out in numbers and so to attract more interest, production decided to focus more on 2nd ML, and you don't even see ML in the last episode. Completely ridiculous.

There was also some tension during the filming, as Park Hae Jin noticed the scenes he filmed did not make it to final production and there was conflict. Then in an interview, FL actor said something about some people being difficult, which he wasn't. He is the ML, his scenes should be there.
Then I also read, after filming, they were all going to Bali for a relaxing trip and Park HaeJin wasn't invited. Park HaeJin is such a sweetheart, they really did him bad.
I guess the drama received backlash due lack of scenes with ML, therefore a movie version was made with same ML and different FL, different 2nd ML. You might want to watch that one. I liked both versions personally.

I wonder is it entertaining because I am looking for a story with mental ML who got a very tough time and I hope…
‘General and I’ would fit this. It’s a war drama, FL is a military strategist, very intelligent. ML is a war general from the enemy state. It’s enemies to lovers. I don’t know what you mean by ‘mental ML’, a mentally strong ML? Yes he is. Romance is really good in this drama also there is usual love triangle, filler episodes etc but it’s good drama and quite enjoyable. FL acting is so so but she is very pretty with strong chemistry between the leads. Wallace Chung is the ML. Need I say more? Lol

Person Ding Jia Wen
I'm watching him in Lost you Forever, this guy is so cute. I don't remember him from The Double. Will rewatch those episodes to look for him. He has a unique look, looks more korean than chinese IMO. He needs to get main roles, at least 2nd ML.... he has good looks, and comedic roles in Wuxia drama suit him.

Why so many negative review? Is this drama really that bad? Is it not worthy to watch?
some funny moments, but mostly its bad. The plot makes no sense. There's like so many car accidents and amnesia plot that I have lost count....The only saving grace is Song Seung Heon. Looking at his handsome face throughout the drama makes it a bit easier. I gave this 6,5 just for him. I still FF through last 2 episodes. And still don't know if there was a kiss, if there was I missed it and I don't care.... moving on to my next drama

I just finished it... I don't think MunJo even exists, since we saw that it was all Jung Woo's delusions. Or perhaps…
There are some plotholes....a lot is not explained. I mean at the end the police must have found the real MunJo's body since they stated Jong Woo killed him in self defence.
Also at the end, the thug pointed at MunJo's photo to state MunJo was also involved in abusing him. So I'm thinking Munjo must have also been involved in killing somehow. It's a bit confusing....
But a lot of what we see in this series is from the point of Jong Woo's delusions, so its hard to know what is real and what is not.

I just finished it... I don't think MunJo even exists, since we saw that it was all Jung Woo's delusions. Or perhaps MunJo was just the local dentist and had nothing to do with that boarding house. Even the police officer belived Jung Woo's delusions and started seeing MunJo just randomly standing watching her on the street. Mun Jo is really Jung Woo's ulter ego.

How Lee El manages to do such different 2 productions at the same time? She really works too hard
I haven't seen this drama yet but I am watching the Troublesome star, she is not the main actress in that drama, and from what I know they don't record the scenes in linear fashion. They would film all her scenes in short space of time rather than keep her coming back to film them. So the same is true for her other drama...
