I haven’t watched many of his drama, but if you want a non romantic role then watch The girl who sees scents. He plays the villain role and so good. He does psycho role so well…

Does it have to be kdrama? I have favourite cdrama -
1.Joy of life ( 2 seasons). Absolute best in Asian drama. Historical cdrama.
2. Empress ki
3. Arsenal military academy (cdrama historical)
4. Boys over flowers ( all versions) my favourite is the Japanese version.
5. Cheese in the trap ( I love Park Hae Jin)
6. The Double ( cdrama historical)
7. Go Ahead ( cdrama)

Most people like watching modern drama. Fewer people watch historical drama… also I think BOF is much more than bullying. It’s about a rich guy falling obsessively for a poor girl. The class differences, the struggle to overcome judgements, and parental control. The responsibility that ML faces due to the fate of the enormous company with millions of employees resting on his shoulders, when he just wants to follow his heart and be with the simple ‘insignificant’ girl. It is really a powerful story. Of course it’s also about the FL- like Cinderella. Rags to riches. She is abused and bullied and like a weed she withstands it all and becomes friends with her enemies, and finally marries her prince. BOF is the modern Cinderella. So no wonder it’s popular.

i loved Boys over flowers. Its my go to drama in between dramas when I want to watch something old and familiar and have watched all other versions -Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanse, Thai.... But I also like dramas such as Empress Ki or Sungkyunkwan Scandal. There is audience for all types of dramas.

I like manly looking men, not just face. But the whole package. Song WeiLong is the whole package. WX is still a school boy in comparison. That’s my opinion. But we have different tastes. What’s the point of arguing about this? You like WX, I don’t. Why write to me and argue about it? Very weird. Good for you! Continue on your fangirling. It doesn’t change my opinion.

Same. After watching Joy of life, 2 seasons back to back. My standards were raised and no other drama could compare. I got bored pretty quickly and couldn’t find anything to watch. But then I found story of kunning palace, and the double. I was able to finally move on from Joy of life. Still I look up videos of joy of life on YouTube for a laugh. Can’t wait for season 3.

A lot of Chinese actors look like school boys in modern clothing. Have you seen what WX looks like in modern clothing? Chinese male supermodel nope. Liu Xueyi took my breath away when I saw him in Kill me love me. That steamy hot tub scene with FL… go watch it. Another one that comes to mind is Song WeiLong. He’s getting more manly and more attractive. WX still needs growing up to do. He’s way too skinny. He may look better in 5-7 years.

If you want politics and with lots of humour watch Joy of life (2 seasons). Funniest cdrama I’ve seen and the best one. It’s a masterpiece. There is romance but not the main theme

you being this angry means she is a good actress, that you are angry at the actress lol... You can't separate her from her characters? If it pays her bills to play the same character, why do something else? Its not her fault she been casted that way. Its not like she can get main roles anyway. At her age, she is lucky to still get work.

Watch 'missing you', she actually plays a caring mother. Her crying scenes are just so heartwrenching. She plays the mother of FL, who gets sexually assualted and then disappears for 14 years.

you should definitely watch it. He is 2nd ML, generally 2nd ML don't get the girl, but he is step brother to FL and as such he does get happy ending. He learns a valuable lesson, he did not value his poor family and ran away from them because he looked down on the poverty he was living in and disliked his disabled step father. Now as an adult, he learns they were looking for him yet he stayed away, but at the end he finaly finds them back and finds the family love he was looking for. Its a very heartwarming family saga, this drama will stay with you for a while. It touched me deeply and I want to rewatch it. After this drama I started watching more of Nam Gongmins work. What a great actor! The other actors were brilliant too, especially the disabled father, he made me cry so much.

Finally Ren Hao is ML? yes!!! been waiting for it. I just watched two dramas with him where he didn't get the girl. Finally, maybe happy ending for him.

You should definitely watch it. FLis very smart in the drama, she is somewhat of a scientist and inventor, she has developed some cool gadgets like ancient lift and what not. Angelababy always chooses roles where is is smart ( Another one is "General and I"). She pretends to be a male as to keep the business of her family as they only let a male run it. She runs into ML, he has a grudge against her 'male character' but she dresses as a female around him so he doesn't know who she is. obviously they fall in love but they are from two different states.

She needs something to bring back to her state and he wants to prevent her from taking it etc.... as they are from two enemy states, they can't be together. He is forced to marry someone else, and she escapes as her life is in danger in his state, she fakes her own death, of course the infamous Cliff dive!! haha... he thinks she has died. anyway, it is a happy ending. The first half is pretty good, the second half was so so but visuals of the leads is so good. The chemistry is sizzling. CGI is crap. And you can fast forward through boring parts. Song Wei Long, damn that man looks hot in braids. Please don't miss it!

How is Zhao Lusi getting main lead roles but not her? She is way prettier and just as good actress.

tell me where is proof she was 15 when he was dating her? A few photos and claims from her family is not proof. Its trial by media, thats what it is. In court these photos will not stand as evidence. At this point, her family could claim he pushed her from the bridge and people like you who have brains like sheep, will believe them... Same thing happened with Ji Soo... anyone can make claims about anyone whether true or not.

Someone could find photos of you, using AI make them to look like porn or some other compromising position and know all details about you through social media etc and release it online with disgusting claims, whether true or not. Try defending yourself against that. Plenty of innocent men have been incarcerated unfairly because their girlfriends lied about rape... Dont be so quick to judge just because you see something on internet. One day you might be a victim of false claims, especiallyif you are a successful celebrity and people just want to bring you down.

KimSaeron's family did nothing while she was alive, now suddenly after she died, its all Kim Soo Hyun's fault. Very convenient to put the blame on him. Had he been a normal office worker, this would not have happened. But they have something to gain from an actor of high status. Money talks you see.

Agree, even I’m questioning whether to continue watching kdrama, it feels all fake. I watch a lot of cdrama and their culture is not as toxic as the Korean one. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, and Ji Soo proved how mentally strong he is. Korea has lost a bright star.

Ji Soo is already making waves in Philippines. And you should remove yourself from this site. Stop watching kdrama, people like you is the reason some of the actors are not with us anymore. You should be ashamed of yourself. As for Kim Soo Hyun, he has enough money to live comfortably for rest of his life. Or he can do business and do other stuff. I dare say we will see him vindicated, he will rise again in China or other Asian country. Korea will loose their actors if they continue this way.

This is sad that Ji Soo can’t make a comeback to kdrama acting. How seriously judgemental and without empathy South Korea is. They expect perfection from a human being? No one is perfect, and if he did something wrong, he has already paid for it. I’m glad he is still with us and alive, and found a way to do movies elsewhere. I guess this is going to be the route for Kim Soo Hyun. His situation is a lot more serious however.

i wouldn't call it a relationship with 2nd ML, when she spends that much time with ML. its not a committed relationship. She was attracted to 2nd ML, but no true love.
