Knowing the prudish standards of YouTube I don't get my hopes high.
@thewatch313430 I am still a bit anxious what will happen if YouTube has a closer look at that one. The channels of Rex Lantano (Papa What is Love?) and Life Time Dream Production (PRE*SO) were deleted for much less graphic content.
It started off so well with the first story, and at such a high pitch of emotions and angst, that I feared it was not gonna keep that high standard, but it managed to be consistently intelligent, thought-provoking and compelling over 20 episodes. The first 3 stories were edge-of-the seat, only the 4th segment got some disparate elements and script discrepancy, but even that remained civilized and engaging. The writing was full of unexpected twists and turns, it featured muliti-layered and multifaceted, gullibble and brilliantly flawed people, it caught the actors at their very best form who gave the best performances of their career so far, and nonethless it gave us a sharp look at the Thai entertainment industry and went even farther and deeper than Lovely Writer or Call It What You Want. One of the very best of this year. The key reason it did not resonate with the average BL fans that well is quite possibly because the couples/characters were too complex, often manipulative and frequently unscruplulous for the purists. To me this was probably the the bet aspect about it. By turns I could despise and feel for them alternately.
So did Team’s friend die because he tried to save him and was Team’s brother is a friend/love of the deceased boy, so that is why he is angry with him or was that boy his half-brother from a different mother who did not die at last but he cannot swim due to his shock or what? I really don’t know.
(Ep. 1) This is better than I expected it would be and has an original and intriguing storyline, if a somewhat…
BL fans' idea about acting on MDL is just as negligible and childish in general as in almost every other respect. They seem to think that if someone is cold, stiff and not very expressive in mime that indicates lack of acting abilities. As if there were no characters irl who are just like this, and who should be played exactly this way.
OK, I gave the benefit of doubt and chance to reform for the gay couple in the gang and I have considered the girl and his snuffed out bf the only psychos, but after today's episode that is gone.
No, they already done all the parts in the novel. So the only option that we can hope right now is the director's…
Who prepared that ED? Btw I totally agree with you that this ending was perfect no matter how panful it is. The entire theme is about loss and grief and a happy end would take that point away.
Btw this paralell POV concept seems to be a thing for Eda Yuuri. It was a twist in Utsukushi Kare as well. Hats off to that lady, she is really a great novelist.
One of the most beautiful, unique and heartbreaking series I have ever seen. Truly unforgettable. Magnificent storytelling, stellar performances and excellent cinematography.
Oh, give me a break. 99% of the BL shows are full lovey-dovey with the happiest of endings. And when in 1% creators dare to come up with a bittersweet one people start tantrums like "betrayal". Ridiculous and immature.
