- Keam doesn’t like Jin, he’s just worried about him (i.e. cause he’s a player, or cause he got hurt by his ex) - Keam isn’t into his gf but is too scared to stay with her - He’s into Ball and finally making some moves.. kinda
Something about Daon trying to keep that “perfect guy” persona really hits home. I used to be a loner and it would be very peaceful and quiet, school breaks were like a time to relax with my thoughts and just walk around the place. I eventually got friends and it was quite nice, but damn did I feel pressured to put up this “social, easy-going, untroubled” persona. Sometimes I wonder how it would to be someone like Taekyung again. I just really hope DO starts letting himself have a break for once. If he keeps this going then he’s going to eventually break and knowing him so far, beating himself up afterwards is an understatement to what he’d do. Also, I’m on the Shinwoo team but TK and DO also seem like a good dynamic. DO helps TK get out of his shell more and that support he generally lacks, and TK helps DO start setting those boundaries and understanding the difference between being kind, and just ~straight~ up self-sacrificing.
I don’t know why but I absolutely loved that pilot episode. I feel like I like it more than I should but I can’t help it. Maybe it’s because the production is better, but oh my gosh it’s going to become my favorite Korean bl if it keeps this up.
The male leads are so interesting, especially since I rarely ever get to see “people pleasers” in Asian dramas. Ngl though, the female lead is pretty standard right now but she looks like she might get a good storyline so fingers crossed for that.
Since they’re promoting Cutie Pie on Twitter, I’m guessing Mandee’s going to film that show before this one so we might have to wait a long time.. *sighs* :’(
Since it was a special episode, I didn’t mind if it was just a ton of fun and fluff, but the whole miscommunication thing was really off. It just didn’t seem like them and sometimes I felt disconnected from the characters (apart from Gene). It’s certainly not something you need to watch since it has no important information but still a fun little special episode to fill up some time.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how adorable it was watching the 2 friend groups waking up together? It was so quietly chaotic and just.. amazing..?
This episode actually had a really good pacing compared to the other episodes (except for the slightly rushed ending). Honestly, I think this is more of a show to watch to cope from other shows, not exactly a show you take seriously. It’s still pretty good though and the aesthetics are amazing.
Honestly, I was really anticipating the scene where Nubsib beat someone up. I was constantly waiting for them to let Nubsib show his dark side, but the only scene we got was when he was ‘hugging’ Aey (which I loved). Kind of wish they went with what the novel did, especially since Kao seems like he could pull it off really well.
