Maybe Nubsib is so possessive of Gene around Aey because Aey is a mirror of him and is also trying to manipulate Gene since he (spoiler alert) also likes Gene. Only difference is that Aey doesn’t know how to get Gene and has huge love life issues to sort with.
I was worried about the same, but someone here just said that *THAT* scene from the novel won't happen. I wish…
I read that Aey was supposed to drug Gene but Nubsib drank the drink and they went home and.. yknow.. I just find it strange how they would have their first time while one person is s** pollen-ed.
The teaser worries me since I got spoilers from the novel. I was kinda hoping the series would change the outcome of the scene but I guess we’ll see next episode.
It’s fun, aesthetic, and entertaining but that’s about it. The actors in this 2nd couple are really good though, so let’s hope the BL gods give them another chance and grant them a show with a good plot one day.
Pi is such a realistic character so far. I’ve met so many people with low self esteem who constantly got judged to the point where they judged others. It always makes this loop of them judging people and people leaving them and strengthening this mindset that everyone hates them when in reality they’re unconsciously driving others to leave. Luckily, our pining Mork here is going to help show Pi that he’s amazing just the way he is and give him the love that he deserves. What a great pilot episode :)
Apparently they’re going to be filming the pilot soon and start filming the series by the end of April. I’m guessing it’ll be released in August or September..? Not sure..
This show is so good that when I binged it in a day, I realized how sad my life was and how perfect this show was at portraying not just LGBTQ+, but love in general.
God, looks like everyone telling that Gene's mental breakdown was "too much" just lack emotional intelligence.…
Agree on every single point. Gene is overwhelmed and isn’t ready to listen yet. As long as he doesn’t drag it on for weeks on end then he deserves time to think. I really think this show has a lot going on with the characters, and that almost every action has a reason behind it (unless things start getting problematic). Also your English is really good (like maybe even better than the subs for this ep).
Hi. Wondering what it was in episode 8 that put you off?
The fact that the mom was trying to show off to her friends too was just the cherry on top. I got to give props to the child actors for being able to cry that much though. Besides Earth and Mix, they were the best actors in the whole show for me.

Hi there. I was pretty put off by how predictable and similar the plot was to other BL series with the miscommunication and the “dad knew all along and it was all a lie” sort of plot in episode 9. Even though they executed it much better than other series, it just disinterested me since the show is so unique and was like an escape from repetitive plotlines for me.
