I have read manga, seen anime series, all 2 japanese adaptations, Meteor Garden, peeked a bit cdrama. I liked kdrama and first season of tdrama. Jdrama versions didnt made impact to me but i can understand why younger audience likes it and to be honest original is shoujo not josey.Tdrama team wanted too make something original and fresh what ended in form of season two - total failure. Smehow seems that this story is easy to adapt into dif.cultural surounding but actually it is kinda hard nut to crack. I already read that you have alot of storylines what you want to follow and you plan made them more detailed but it sounds to me impossible bc you have ONLY 16 episodes ( and thous arent 1h long but shorter?) all this and main storylines can be done if you just rush with record speed thru and it makes drama shallow. And i hope that you dont forget that F4 are beautiful boys not just handsome

Title Who Are You
Rated this an 8 just because of Kim Jae Wook. The man is such an amazing actor. I can't believe that he always…
:D it was perfect role, one about what every actor dreams.Lead roles are often so cliche and has so few room for creative acting...and boring to watch.

Typicaly for this drama last ep is cliffhanger. It might hint to sequel or just want make us curious and restless. First part of ep is slow, it closes up all storylines and you start wondering why they do this so detailed...um..but few last minits make it clear - ending has grown into intro without you even noticing it...and then series end. Now i wonder - does now they both? ...or only she or only he? Is one of them in danger again? ...or?<br />Owerall it was good drama, it had some tiny flaws, mostly in few last episodes but it managed keep you interested even if you predicted what is going to happen next. Taec made good role and supported his partner well. KJW made a stellar role and SYH made her best role. Script started out strong but in the end part had some weaknesses, without this cast and directing it would been disaster. This is from mine point of view.

Why do we love jerks? Because they make the most interesting heroes! They're like puzzles we want to figure out…
jup..like puzzles but sometimes when puzzle is solved...some of them become boring bc puzzle was all what they had. So mostly part of "figuring out" is best.

After watching Master's Sun, i had to drop this drama, smh. They are similar but also completely different and…
MS ep.7 part 4 07:31
Secretar Kim: "your son will be in treatment while you are being investigated, then he will be sent to child protection institution." It doesnt sound like sent to live with other family members.Nothing for imagination.
Issues in MS and WAY are diferent, both are serious but way how dealt is diferent. When MS leaves story after glory has showered main leads then in WAY main leads really put their lives on line. They cant bring that girl back to life but they can reveal truth to them who are still alive, help a boy who is drowning in guilt and selfloathe, tell to mother that her daughter wasnt person who killed herself and they make sure that criminal cant harm more people. They totally solve the case. So you see its not that 2 officers shot the suspect and that all we know. You seems to not seen half of episode bc its not possible in other way.

it should be good. from a story stand point there is no reason that this drama should suck as badly as it does.…
:D Yup views and oppinions can be diferent and it makes world wonderful.
Mine view and "weird taste" on acting and directing and whole storytelling consept has grown out from what i learned in school and from days when i was closely connected with theatre. Bc of this i like discussions and diferent views - thous are like doors to new world. Thank you for sharing your oppinions and views with me <3

Title The Heirs Spoiler
It makes me laugh that drama what ISNT AIRED YET has so high rateing already...it makes me not to want watch it, at least when it starts air bc this predicts big meaningles fangirling hype and fuzz what doesnt mirror dramas actual values. Usually i then wait till all bubles and pink fog are gone.
MDL should make rateing before airing impossible. With premature reviews it is simple, you just push "not helpful" but with this? Should i delibrately rate this drama "poor" to balance situation? It sounds same way wrong...

I should be felt like two diferent worlds and character of Taec strugling there. He is normal average young man, still not fully matured, put in storm of unusual events and new feelings for him.It is grand test for him or both of them (character and Taec)and we watch his painful strugle to come out of this and his journey of growing man. If it doesnt have some comic moments it wouldnt be so real. I havent spoted yet things what should be there, even details are managed very carefully and story doesnt have plot holes.First episodes where important to story and characters developmet, even this episode about his father, it introducted to you from where he comes, his real self what he hides and same time helped build trust and understanding between him and heroine. Well chosen, well directed.Simple is best but not always, sometimes it is just easy way out and not trying give all.

After watching Master's Sun, i had to drop this drama, smh. They are similar but also completely different and…
mmm...problem lies there that they havent taken serious attitude but just use you and your feelings. This poor boy goes to orphanage, kids even abused ones still love their parents and want to be with them, it might sound weird but its how it is in real life. Secretary is pure embodyment/sample of deus ex machina problem solving in this drama. If you want to do light drama it doesnt mean you can handle and use serious problems lightly - its just cheap. WAY doesnt do it even in its comic moments, it doesnt use you, it doesnt use serious themes just for milking you for tears, all this is explored from start to end and ugly parts arent covered with cream. This is real diference in quality and good storytelling.

i have it vice versa :D Last episodes of MS made me so disapointed, they take up very serious themes and give you tearjerking scenes and when you expect some real solution they just...cover all with whiped cream and powder sugar. At least abused childrens theme isnt thing for creating fairytale episode endings in drama about adults, even if this drama is romcom, its too cruel...

Title Who Are You
The drama had potential. Unfortunately, Taecyeon still can't act, the age difference is completely off-putting,…
Its matter of taste and what you want from drama: if you like deus ex machina endings for stories and ultra light entertaiment then MS is for you. If you like good acting, interesting plot then chose WAY. BTW similarity between thous two dramas is tiny - both have ghosts and character who sees them, nothing more, nothing less.

Title Love Rain
the first episodes are too boring
For me first part was perfect, very well directed, brilliantly acted. Second part was more boring, kinda collection of shoujo clishes. And acting level droped littlebit bc there wasnt alot with what work for actors - so they started do just "going with flow".
so like you see - its diferent for diferent people and depends what is your goal: injoy process of creation or just have nice light entertaiment. Both goals are ok. but change your view to drama. :D

Title Who Are You
I honestly just can't connect with Taecyeon's character :I His character just doesn't have much substance to me…
From actors perpective second leads are more interesting, challenging and have more opportunity to show itself. Main lead roles can be very boring for acting. Everybody remembers charater of second lead who should have girl by every mean but... and even when drama itself is medicore audience roots for good second lead and this keeps them invested. Ofcourse fans want their idols have main roles but its not always best choise for actor. Imagine here that Taec was Ghost bf and KJW was main lead. He surely had made role well but there is so little to work with for actor of his calibre. If you think about it is good how it is now.Injoy incredible rolemaking what he is doing now and wich that he is able get more this kind roles in future. Main male lead? Only if role is challenging, usual lead male roles in romcom dramaland are kinda clishe and boring...

I want to watch this but the story is so much like Heaven's Order... Otteohkki T_T
If i compare it with Masters Sun what is for me like patchwork of cuts from other dramas/movies what i have seen, then this similarity here is just minor. :D

I find his acting fiting, he supoused to be littlebit awkward, clumsy and oweracting, he plays role of young guy who dont want look not cool and tries too hard - same goes for Taec, so he is perfectly fiting into this role. I think in casting they already caunted in his ability level and role is "tailored" to him. I agree that scriptwriters are good if they are able to take all this kind details in. <3
