There is more places and sets in kdrama what get used again and again.
And there are few stuffed animals ( one sad looking dog exs.) who love be in dramas. Sometimes i call them supporting actors already.

I told you, i have weird taste. But it doesnt mean that i want all poeple think like me, it wouldnt be fun. Diference is interesting and fun. Having own oppinion is important thing in life.:D

yep it has new website, old one got taken down. So new one was made by main/oldes/alumini group of members. New home feels exactly same like old one - it is fun. Just go here and register (http://aniverse.org/ ), sadly old usernames and passwords got lost and you need register now for login, old members all have taken their old usernames, so you can recognise them easily :D
Count of members might seem small but actually on old site there where kinda little really active members, most of them where just downloading. Still we havent find all who where active bc all contacts are lost now too, we have posted on aniverse facebook site and MALs site, so who used them can find new home but not all members didnt use them. If you know some old members who havent find new home yet, please share link with them or if you know some places where old members hang out in web. OK? <3

Like you see i have weird taste,i like even mine light entertaiment done with fire and soul.I can understand why people like pinky fluff with golden shine even when all this is fake,i even can like it if it is done with right goal,to entertain audience but i dont like if it is done only just for fame and money bc it shows out and spoils fun. i dont like when creators take audience lightly, like stupid crowd of teenagers who just want see cheese and fanservice.
Bigest sin of MS for me was that creators used audience by doing things "just for effect and to get impact",main flaw of Hong sisters. Only few their dramas are nice and thous are scripts what production team edited,their pure works are just pile of lishes,plotholes,cheese and stupid jokes.Sry. this is just mine oppinion and rant.

Somehow i feel that you dont like Ower the Rainbow bc it isnt similar to Monstar or Dream High.

1.Itazura Na Kiss: Love in Tokyo,I didnt like it so much bc they didnt get main male leads character right, they did same mistake than other adaptations: they forgot why he is like he is and just rushed do fanservice to please fangirls...and hes looks wasnt mine cup of tea but this part is minor one if actor can act superb and convince me but he couldnt.
2.City Hunter,only good parts there where action, main female actor started well but soon fell flat in acting, it was painful to watch.And story what started powerful sizled down to kinda childish. So there where parts what i liked but there where parts what where just embarrassing.
3.KPOP:the Ultimate Audition was ultimate failure in every front: script, acting, directing,soundtrack was only part what i liked. In start there where some potential but it got wasted.
4. MS wasnt cheap technically but by goals of production staff.

Over the Rainbow drama and movie are two diferent stories, no connections. OtR drama has alot of music but it isnt about music but about...alot of things: love, dreams, backstabing, friendship, struggle, giving up, growing up, getting burned and wounded, about time, about...alot of things. It has kinda unique plot for kdrama bc this is drama with twist and you get to see kinda realistic view of kpop entertaiment industry. Acting is good, soundtrack too, cast is interesting...You can forget Monstar and Dream High - thous where for younger teens, OtR is bit more mature and might disapoint them who want something similar.
You can see already that i like it and im rewatching it now and i do some a tinybit more serious review in the end ..if you want you can come and play with me :D

i dont know how much you know about Ji Hyun Woo but OtR has some nice points/details what now (2013) looking back (2006) seem like ...fun? ...erm, how to say it and not to spoil drama for you...erm. OK. i tell you about this after you end drama. :P

About suggestion.
I see you watch monstar now. It was partly ok and partly failure. Failure bc story feels incomplete and has alot plotholes, here-there acting is bit clumsy but i know all them are young actors, so it is excusable.For me story itself was bit immature but its flaw of shoujo genre.
You havent seen Dream High, what has same theme of music and charaters strugle with their past and now. DH is bit betterly done than Monstar but still just... story for teens, what is too less for me.
So...i suggest for you drama from same theme: music, ambitions, hopes and strugles but with good acting and storyline what is more realistic and mature. Soundtrack is nice too.

I have seen both: PK and SB! Last one is one of few Tdramas what i was able to watch. I agree that in both actors has done good job with adapting manga charatcters into live drama. I found PK to be a best version from all adaptations what has done from this story bc personality of main male character is done right.In other versions they show him to be just jerk and annoying. In kdrama it is shown why he is what he is and reasons why and how he changes, even if this story is shoujo the main point isnt girls storyline.
SJ guys act ok, i dont argue about this. Im not big fan of this group but i sometimes listen their songs. In music im kinda omnivore by genre but picky one bc i like only really well done music.So i have alot favorites from west to east and from classic to death metall.
MS is Hongs sisters drama and i dont like them bc they write cheap.

um...Ji Sung, im not fan of his ( droped one drama bc of his acting) but liked one his movie...so i give this drama a try.
