Is it wrong that I keep looking at his hairstyle all the time? I'm never a big fan of his hair in dramas beside…
i like him with long hair and i think long style suits his personality(how i see him) better but i dont hate him with short hair like he had in The Happy Life, its for me more up to character whom he plays. If he manages act character belivable to me - i buy all package, hair too...if not then even "normal" hairdo doesnt help.
I want his hair to be like a guy's normal hair atleast in one drama :P
um...guy's normal hair? There is this kind standard - normal hair? In past long hair was symbol of free man and power, short hair was symbol of slavery. Later short hair was necessity bc of parasites. Now we have hot water, shampoo a.s.o. era so cuting hair short isnt necessity anymore. So there isnt standarts anymore for hair.
Im going watch this drama just from curiosity, i dont have big hopes up but i have read manhwa and i want see its adaptation into live drama.
I watched it seemingly with poor eng. translation bc half hes thoughts didnt make sence and half was some poorly tied bits of citates from well known people.i really hope that original text has more to tell. Acting, camerawork and soundtrack are good. So, if you dont understand japanese make sure before watching that subtitles are made by people who really well know both languages or you end just wondering like me - about what this movie is? is this really message what creators wanted make? i try find better translation.
Your article was really cool! Frankly, I'm from France and I never understood all the buzz about Paris, the first…
Paris has its appeal bc of its history. Who doesnt want dream itself back into era where their favorite charaters or persons lived. Visit to see, touch and feel. It doesnt matter is this city dirty or crowded. All old cities has this appeal but bc Paris is place for so many novels, movies and art its charm is more tempting.
Super article! I love when dramas are seen not only from romance point or action or... but used to learn and understand about countries history/politics/tradition/culture/a.s.o.
um... he doesnt act badly but something in his face makes me hard to look at him bc some of his facial expressions arent pleasant to look (gives you feeling that something is wrong or not in right place or compleatly unnatural) and i dont mean by it ones what should be this way... maybe in more serious themed story it is not so disturbing...i know, it is weird.

From point of learning from masters are Ghibli Studio works good stuff. Their storytelling style and mood is perfect, sometimes charaters are clishe and plot predictable but bc storytelling is high quality you still dont get bored.
For anime there is few wikiwebsites, they are diferent but in summary very useful.
1. AnimeNewsNetwork - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/
it started like pure wiki but now has anything, still database is good and some reviews/articles are superb.
2. MyAnimeList - http://myanimelist.net/
similar to MDL
3.AniDB http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=main
old, kinda hard to use, more like for geeks but one of most interesting one.
If you use all three of them then you can get all info what you need.
There was one more, what had a long list of very old anime and rare anime but sadly it is gone now...

i must say that what i gave you is like testdrive. Mine recommendations list content depends what parts of it you like and what not.
I hope you have fun in festival. Here soon starts out every year traditional movie festival too, it has grown now kinda big and wide. Many tiny festivals has chatered under its title, one is our anime festival. Sadly year by year i havent find anything new or exciting to watch, except one year when i got to see Berserk before official release. But there have been few interesting exhibitions and lections. Last year highlight was this movie about wolf kids but i managed see it before and with better subtitles,so...

i rewached ep.2 with eng subs. It doesnt changed alot for me, some details here-there. Like on feed i already posted, i predict that in future shin fails in job and has car accident where thir kid gets killed, add pile of family tragedy and you get why she came change past.
What i liked alot is how in hidden way charaters talk about actual situation in entertaiment world. I lurve thous sneaky bites. I hope they manage keep this style up - outside crusty comedy, inside serious filling.
Acting is yummi, all main leads fit roles perfectly.
Its way better than Heirs now, i hope H. manages improve within next few eps.
Thanks for the link, it is useful, i already peeked vol.1 and by first glimpse this role is gonna suit JGS well or vice versa - JGS suits this role well. I hope this story has some fresh angle, til now i havent seen any yet.
From one side im glad that he has new drama and from other side im sad that this is again shoujo romcom. But...if you thin about his age and that he must go to military soon... then now it is last time to do this kind dramas and try out various kind crazy fashion and looks.
Now he is still considered to be "boy"/"young guy", after military he migh want to have more mature style.
ups...i came to thank you and now forgot myself here to talk ...
So, Thank You for link!

To The Beautiful You,i didnt like jdrama, kdrama and remake too. But i like manga, i have reread it few times and by mine book any of adaptations havent gotten main point right and all main lead females are so poor in gender-bender acting that it is painful to watch.
Im not big fan of shoujo genre even in managa, so in drama im even more demanding. I watch light dramas but there must be something for me: good acting and role making, understanding of original and not to taking audience lightly bc teens arent stupid, at least not all of them.

:D umm means that your previous post behavied strangely: it is double post but first one and second one has 6 hours gap.
I have watched Heirs 1-2 eps. It doesnt start badly but it isnt good either. American supporting actors are really bad in acting, nearly ruined all scenes where thei where. LMH' eng gives me goosepumps but this is minor thing, worse part is that he fails deliver characters emotions. In this part he cant have big and open ones but tiny flashes and hints but there isnt none. I even specially rewatched some scenes. Female lead is ok but second lead is boring. First 1-3 eps are usually in kdrama intros, so i still in waiting position.
