Don’t like the Fl’s character. She doesn’t know how to communicate. She has a great support system in front of her but she kept lying to them… the very people who could help her through it… I am done with this drama…
This one wasn’t good as I hoped. The Fl’s acting/expression had this fixed doe in headlights look the whole way so it ruined the story plot in a way. It was distracting and made her seem like a native person.
It was okish but wished the Fl did not act like a 5 year old in the beginning episodes though. She was a disciple of Wuhua for goodness sake… and those pig tails…on a 30 yo old person…. Who’s supposed to be 18 ish in the story… wish she would act 18…. Her age in the story.
Her selfish choices without thinking ultimately affected everyone…maybe it’s better she stayed at Mount Wuhua longer and maybe her family will be alive and rong yu wont turn into a fool at all.
Her hiding after saving rong yu is stupid. Running away after he finally found her is stupid too. All those lost time they could have had together is wasted. At the end, like the beginning, she was a selfish person, not thinking about how her choices affect other people.
Well after he found her the second time, hopefully she grows up a great deal and calm a whole a lot.

Same here. A few episodes after her waking up from her dream would be nice. We just watched several episodes of her in her dream and only about one episode worth after she woke up? It felt somewhat unbalanced. Still, overall, it’s a good drama.

When you say it like that, it makes more sense. We get that mu yao said it on impulse and anyone in that situation probably would have done the same thing… but still, it’s all about perspective, she lost everything too and just woke up. It’s all in the right timing I guess and that timing she used pissed me off lol. I guess we can make from that ending is that she’s a better person from now on and make peace with that.
Qian finally woke up and first thing my Yao does was rub it in her face? she already suffered a great deal, physically kicked, two years coma and lost her entire family. Yelan should have called her out for that but he didn’t. Such hypocritical family.
I wish there was more done in the last episode to give a proper closure to this story.
For one, I want to see Qian happier with love than she ever was in the real world but no, we only saw the beginning of that chapter that we will never see. Argh!
Really wanted to watch this drama but don’t like the female lead’s acting skills. In her past dramas she acted so immature/childish which was unrealistic for her age so it’s hard for me to keep watching the dramas she’s in. Hopefully she improved since then.
If this is sequel to ancient love poetry and about Bai jue and Shang gu ‘s kid’s story then why aren’t there any of the familiar cast from ancient love poetry not there? Not even the parents or uncle Tianqi who he’s close to? Or anybody? Not even one?

It was mostly good but I wished xiangyun would show traits or choices an empress would subconsciously make but she did not. For example, when the FL died, the ML grieved a whole life in the mortal realm until old age and died and when the roles are reversed, she suicided herself as soon as ML died.
She couldn’t even put up with a whole life in the mortal realm? The point of mortal realm is to grow and cultivate your character and gain experience.
The Moluo clan also waited for her return for 30k years and when she returned, what did she do? She abandoned her responsibilities and her people just because she missed her lover.
I think the ending would be better if she took her responsibility as an empress and ruled for many years and when the ML gathered his spirit he would meet her somewhere along the way and everyone lived happily ever after.
But then again, I guess it worked out because she doesn’t have the traits or characters that an empress would have and best that she ended up a carefree spirit.
