Okay but why doesn't it show in the actual rating-stats of Semantic Error and Blueming that people reviewbombed…
Or it could be that on average KBL fans are just usually stricter with their shows in terms of ratings, difficult to know which is the case. Yeah I have not heard of groups of gmmtv fans downvoting other BLs, but if they are doing that they are dumb as they are harming the image of BLs to other drama-fans.
Keep in mind though, ratings are highly subjective. Technically anyone could be blamed for downvoting, I know I didn't rate like all of my Thai BLs OR KBLs above an 8. Sometimes ratings are really just what we feel like at that time.
are we actually gonna hit a 9.0 ? wow this is universal PRAISE !!! if MDL play games and it randomly drops to…
Okay but why doesn't it show in the actual rating-stats of Semantic Error and Blueming that people reviewbombed these shows (refering to another comment you made)? There should be at least some higher percentage of 4s and 5s reviews or lower then right? I think Thai BL fans just tend to give more 10/10s for their shows.
There's no reason for us to be divided imo. We are already dealing with bigger other fandoms on this website, it's only together as international BL fans that we are strong.
I liked the series you all listed, but for me #1 To My Star. S2 continues to be great, now none of the others…
The male lead is dead and in an alternate world. He's not experiencing some VR world, this IS his (post-death) world. It's just a world with game-elements but it's not a virtual reality, it's more like a purgatory but more wholesome.
No one can be a they, he is a boy, and it's extremely homophobic fetishes towards real gay/lesbian people we have…
So you joined a drama-site mainly to voice your political opinions? Maybe join in complaining about bad shows instead. I'd rather judge someone based on their acting ability instead of their identity. But who am I? Just another drama watcher on a drama site. Let me know if you have actual relevant drama-opinions for this platform sometime.
Well, it was definitely a product of its time. Parts of it are still very nice to see though and it is sweet to see the family together.
I felt so sorry for Koume throughout this entire show though. Anyone that feels critical of her: She's just a teen girl who should just have to worry about school instead of taking care of family and having her family measure her value in how good she can do housework. I know it was a different time but wow that girl got neglected, taking care of 4 brothers who don't seem to do any housework (unless they are forced to) is not easy for a child even if its just temporary. The only one she was close to was that one uncle dude and that was basically a grooming-type relationship.
A ton of relationship drama in this show which kept things interesting. It's a pretty memorable and emotional show though I didn't care much for the work-filler plot and was mainly there for the friendgroup drama.
Yoshida Eisaku in the 90s really was one charismatic dude.
I can't believe Ossans Love Returns is so underrated on here in terms of viewer-amount. I know it's a barely new show but come on this is a legendary series in Japanese BL history!!! I hope more BL fans discover this show.
Adapted from the web novel "I, a Gangster, Became a High Schooler" (조폭인 내가 고등학생이 되었습니다) by Ho Rol (호롤).
They changed things from the original webnovel
