I guess male lead is getting there with all his research, even though he has pretty bad luck.
When I watch it with that old eras stuff in mind, I have a better framework for how to think about the male lead and how big that change towards more empathy really is. Even when the character has good intent, there's a lot to overcome. I hope he succeeds tho
Congratulations to finally the official ceremony after so many years!!!! Haruta & Maki
Also please don't let Chief Kurosawa die T-T I get it'd kinda make another ending-mark for OL as a franchise in Japan since he has been such a key-character but I will be so sad.
The director is Kim Gyun-ah and scriptwriter is Kwon Cho-rong! There's no information available that they have…
Kim Gyun-Ah/김균아 is featured on Coffee Breaks company-intro pdf-file. It's, to say the least, very difficult to verify these but if Coffee Break uses it then I assume it's legit. Even though I've found zero other sources but ok. This is likely her big break, show-names are within the <> part.

Note for the Korean text of her past work: Even when it says she directed; there could be multiple directors involved.
Sorry, but I really didn't get it. The story was hard to follow. Cha Yeo Woon hates Tae Myung Ha one minute and…
His sudden change is because he's a tsundere-type character. Meaning he will put on a front of being quite cold but once you break through that fake-persona barrier he turns out to be very loving. In reality he was always loving but he was just hiding that side of him out of fear of being hurt. So once he confirmed for himself it was safe, he dropped the tsundere-act and just went full soft-love.
As for timelines; That's not the important part of the story. You basically need to see the story as 2 worlds. The ''real'' world and the ''game'' world. Flashes of the ''real'' world appear in the ''game'' world as memories, nothing more.
BL part is not a problem, the paedophilic elements are.
Or you just don't give enough context for people to understand your intent, leading to posting comments with opposing statements because you don't bother to clarify.

But you praised this show for being straight literally a few comments down. So I would assume that it being BL would have been your main problem with the show.
it's not that deep.. they just removed the romance plot
And respectfully, the BL community will continue supporting shows that do feature lgbtq. When the majority of the world stands against you, you gotta stay strong and united and I believe the golden age of BL is yet to arrive. But thanks for your concern

I've looked through your Feed-post and responded accordingly.
My conclusion on there is that I disagree with you singling out BL for a lot of problematic tropes that you should know also exist in straight romance.
Aside from that you refuse to give BL any credit for progress made in the genre, likely because you don't watch the genre yourself much so you are unaware of the progress. Yet you are still judging it despite not knowing much of it beyond one Youtube video you gave as source of your problems with the genre.
Yes BL is a genre with flaws, just like all romance genres. Progress however comes not from completely avoiding the genre but from interacting with it and finding the positives. Allowing for growth.
I watched this now. Well then. It's mainly.. A family consisting of an assaulter dad and an assaulter brother (which you find out very early in the show) getting away with their crimes and the youngest son deciphering dolphin language. That was basically it, the synopsis gives it way too much credit.

Don't most straight romance shows also have everyone being straight? If you do see a lot of shows with gay side-couples let me know cause I've not encountered a lot. As for make out scenes, watch straight romance Thai dramas I can assure you they appear there too. Romance dramas in general are aiming at women and unrealistic. Idk why we singling BL out here
