What a ride has this drama been. I remember seeing all the theory comments about every small detail and thinking that I was gonna skip out on theorising this time. So glad I did. For me this show was better to watch without expectations of anything. I did love reading the theories after finishing the show to finally understand the story though xD I didn't mind the product placement overall but that helmet-thing (for skin care) went a bit far sometimes.
All in all I would probably only rewatch a few nice episodes with action scenes. There were some beautiful backgrounds and camera shots in this drama. WDHs acting as two characters was also a saving grace (someone should compile all his scenes in a video). I would experience it all over again if I could but only because its been such a community-driven experience.
One thing that this drama has good is the way they tell the story, the twist that happens after he regains the…
Thanks for adding this information. I hadn't realised they were making such a commentary on superficial judgement with the male lead and might rewatch those moments now. I knew the male lead was learning not to make superficial judgements but turns out the drama has a lesson for the viewers too in this case.
It's been a while since I saw it. I personally do tend to judge characters like the male lead a lot so I think it's fun they did such a thing to turn the tables around. Also, yeah his daddy issues are pretty severe xD
i like the idea of angry kiss between them, a lot of times there are no coincidence in SK dramas...so like my…
Ah yes ''The boy next door''. Yeah it is BL-bait but they do actually feature a gay couple somewhere in the show. Basically a guy realises he is gay because of them faking that they are gay. So that was 1 good thing that happened. Though with Korea.. sometimes the ones with real action are far worse because of the extremely tragic endings they come up with (similar to some Chinese BLs)
I rewatched the character intro videos from VIKI and realised (from the scenes they showed) there's gonna be a scene of TJ crying and another scene of Gook being beaten up by some guy. Am a bit worried now for the next few episodes.
Also, lets get this drama at 9000+ comments soon!
