I get that wrong impressions about a drama can happen but there is a ''Melodrama'' genre listing on MDL which is clearly not on this page. I highly advice to check tags and genres on MDL which are there to prevent misunderstandings like you had about this drama.

Am at third episode now. Drama goes from feeling like a healing drama to really sad scenes. It's definitely a show that makes it easy to cry.

Well, watched episode 2 and its still dark. I'm disliking the male lead more and more.

Its difficult for me to tell you since Idk how much romance is too much romance for you. Yeah one of the male leads has a thing for the female character in the other world but they don't only focus on that.
The ending doesn't show a woman + man being together but it does imply they go back to the other world where the female lead is.

I'm not surprised this isn't very wellknown, pretty dark storyline. It is indeed inspired by/an adaptation of that one manga called お金がないっ by 香坂 透 from what I could find. The plotline is very similar.

Gotta have that white lily symbolism in there.
Anyway it's an alright movie, bit overdramatic at times with the whole magic fighting. I found it by looking for the Chinese title but it was unsubbed.

I see.. two tropes in one go. Could be fun though I mean its comedy after all.

Its kinda got romance? But just like the ''categories'' on this page state its mostly adventure/fantasy.

Sometimes a bit confusing but also has some interesting parts. It kinda ended abruptly with episode 14 in my opinion.

Not the weirdest synopsis I've seen on MDL. Anyway seems like an interesting plot I'll watch it.

Grappler Baki and BL was not a combination I expected to see in a jdrama.

Seems like it could be fun just based on synopsis.

I did it. I finally watched the lakorn everyone keeps recommending.
Overall I mean some of the characters frustrated me a ton but I will admit the story keeps you interested in what happens next. It was a lot of emotional pain for all the characters generally and a tiny bit of cute moments.
