I think this series is doing to Song Ha Yoon what The Glory did to Im Ji Yeon. She is doing such a great job as a villian. I hope she gets to be 1FL next tme. I actually can see her being equally capable of playing a sweet, and lovely character. The confrontation was very good! Maybe best scene in the show so far.

I am not super familiar with what count as good rating, but this doesn't look high to me. Ratings (positive or negative) will not make me like drama more or less, but I am worried that the creative team will start doing some outlandish stuff to attract viewers. I must say I don't like the system where the drama is being shot while airing. Too much influence by viewers. The creative team (writer & director) should have their vision and stick to it, at least it will be consistant. Making kneejerk reaction is never good. I am talking in principle, not about this drama.
this gives me the same vibes as in pinnochio……both have feelings for each other but ml feels he doesn’t…
By Kdrama standards, I would say they revealed their feelings to each other fairly early on, which can be good and bad. Good because we will not have misunderstandings and similar stuff, but bad because it removes lots of the tention. Also, I am worried how they will fill the next 10 episodes, because I am getting a bit tired from arcade scenes (are these product placement by any chance?), and the "mystery" aspect is so badly plotted I am not looking for it to be the focus of the drama. So, I hope they will come up with some interesting stuff for the next 10 episodes.
I am in episode 3: And although I am not a medical professional, I have gone through a year of depression with…
Totally agree. This drama has sad exterior and set up, but in reality it is lighthearted (sometimes even silly) and shallow. If you adjust your expectations, then you will have fun and enjoy it(at least I am). But if you look at it critically then it will not hold up to scrutiny.
For a good depression representation try "Our Blues".
the plot is weak cuz why was the anaesthesiologist let off the hook when he was the one who administered the drug?…
The plot is worse than weak lol. It is a complete nonsense. However, I don't think this series should be taken seriously. It is just a fluffy and lighthearted with very beautiful leads.
Now I caught up (5 episodes). I think it is a nice drama, and I like it. I can't see it becoming something special, but it is really enjoyable while one is watching. I don't think their depiction of depression is that good imo. I think depression is much closer to how "Our Blues" showed it. His PTSD depiction is way better imo. But, I don't think the series is aiming for that. It is just a set-up. The series is really lighthearted but wrapped in a sad package.
That's what I wanted to hear. I'm reading so many mixed opinions about it, but the synopsis already gave me some…
I have seen Fargo the movie, and Fargo first two seasons. I have also watched the first episode of this drama. Personally, I don't see any similarties with Fargo. Not in style, not in the tone. I am puzzled how can the two be linked. Please don't expect Fargo.
Thank You!I have probably written this 4 or 5 times then deleted it. You put it so nicely because I was rambling.Point…
Tell me about some PMY fans. I once said I like the 2FL acting more. That got me a "shut up" (without any elaboration) which had 30 likes lool.
Yes about the episodes number. With few tweakings this could have concluded in E12 (drop some stuff from earlier episodes to make room for wrap up), and it would have been very satsfying.
I think "Business Proposal" was great example of that.
This was going great but ep12 is disappointing 1. How can she get mad without listening to JH explanation like…

Point 1 in particular. I find her reaction so extreme. I honestly can't understand it. It woud have been fine if she got upset, or had a fight with him, or got sulky. That would be a more normal reaction. But breaking off the relationship over an arranged engagment where parties were hardly together and only last little bit!!! Also, what is even more surprising and strange is that she is essentially in agremeent with the ex-fiance. The difference is in the behaviour. But, in essence she agree that he belongs to her. I can get over this non-sense of introducing two villians so late, but this manufactured break up and angst is really off putting. I got emotional when she was in the car with her friend, but I didn't feel anything whatsoever when she was crying her eyes out and lamenting her luck because I simply didn't feel the sincerity of events.
E12: I didn't like it. I didn't hold very high opinion about the drama, but I always find it fun, and enjoyable. Sadly, this episode was neither fun nor enjoyable. It was ridiculous!
Some of the directions this adaptation has gone in has made some of the satisfying moments from the story less…
I think it is hard for me to do so, because I am basing my opinion only on the drama. You have a much more detailed knowledge, so even if you see some difference you can contexualise them. I can't. I have only seen them in few scenes, and I didn't like them in any.
I understand people change, and some people have done way worse things, but we viewers can appreciate them and forgive them. The difference is in those cases there is long journey. In case of these 3, I have only seen few scenes.
oh! you should watch "Mr Queen". He is an interesting, and conflicting character there (he is not male lead though)That…
It is about a modern day top chef who ends up in the body of a Joseon Queen. Shin Hye Sun plays the Queen. I like this trope, so I have seen lots of stuff in many languages (and I am a middle age person), and I can honestly say I have never seen a better performance in similiar role. She is brilliant!
However, if you don't enjoy this type of drama, then fair enough. maybe it is not for you. No drama is for everybody.

Interesting. I haven't read the source material, but I totally hate those 3 bullies, and even posted that I am not cheering for them just because they are bullying someone other than Jiwon. I absolutely hated that wedding scene. I didn't find it funny, and my thoughts were not about Soomin suffering more, but why are you asking me to cheer these bullies?? So, yeah..you are right.
Ep 11 - what a beautiful performance by In Woo (ML), it was so moving. I did not know this actor before this series…
oh! you should watch "Mr Queen". He is an interesting, and conflicting character there (he is not male lead though) That said, Mr Queen is AWSOME!!! you will witness one of the best acting performances (Korean or otherwise) by Shin Hye Sun.

In the UK I had to pay £2.99.
It is very convenient that plastic surgeon needs an Anaesthesiologist lool.

My God! she is beautiful!
I watched 2 episodes. I really liked them.
This looks very promising.
Most likely I will not continue.
I have also watched the first episode of this drama. Personally, I don't see any similarties with Fargo. Not in style, not in the tone.
