I totally share your concerns, but not your conclusion.
I suppose the difference is that I am willing to suspend my disbelief.
I am choosing to switch off my brain and just enjoy it for what it is (It is quite enjoyable when I do that), because if I look at it critically, I will probably shred it to pieces lol.

I have issues with series/movies (of all languages) that are SOOO hypocritical about the importance of look. They preach that the inner quality of the person is what matters, but all what you see is that person became a success because they changed their outfit and appearences (In USA they even called a series Ugly Betty with supposedly ugly person, but they cast a really beautiful actress).
I also find the FL underweight, and I know this might be a heresy, I don't find her particularly attractive despite the fact she is beautiful. Also, I liked her look much more with long hair. But, I don't care, she is a good actress, and her acting is convincing to me.
On the whole, I find the drama very enjoyable, but I am also a bit worried what are they going to do in the next 10 episodes since they resolved lots of tention fairly quickly(PLEASE DON'T SPOIL if you have read the webtoon)

Is this about taxes or something?

Why exactly we should care whether the actress is lying or not?
I don't know this actress. I am not her fan or something. This is the first time I am watching her in a drama.
But, if she stands on top of Mount Everest and shout that she is a liar, I would still watch the series.

Viewers shouldn't regard these actors as some special people in the first place. They are just doing their job, and we should treat them as such.

This series is doing a public service for being good and on Monday :)

WHY everyone is against glasses???
I think ML certainly looks better with them, and I think glasses make tons of women look better.
I honestly don't understand why people don't like them ?

I also like the actress Gong Min Jung eventhough she is always in supporting roles.
I hope one day she gets a leading one.

The product placement E3 was VERY annoying.
If I was in Korea, I would never buy something from Authentique for such over the top advertising. Honestly, an advert break would have been better.

*Big Sigh* Are we going to have a love triangle? I just HATE this trope. I don't mind it once in a while, but not in almost every romantic drama. Kdramas have so many inovative plots, so why do writers keep having this?
I am genuinely curious to hear from Koreans. Do you like love triangles?
I hope after this episode we start to see some consequences to Ji Won & Soo Min relationship. They need to have at least some conversation.

Episode 3

I watched first 2 episodes, and I really enjoyed them.
The premise is very relatable. Don't we all want to have another go at our life and fix at least the big mistakes we have done?
I am well aware that the story has been done many, many times in all kind of languages, but I think originality is only part of any work, and maybe not even that important.
The execution of the premise is what matters most (Of course an original idea done well is something super, but honestly, how many are there? almost the entire world series are just different adaptations of the same ideas). How you tell your story, how the actors are doing, etc etc.

So far I am liking all leads including the secondary actors who are playing very annoying characters and I want to slap them hundred times almost in every scene lol. But, that is a sign they are doing their job well.
I am a man, but the guy from Mr. Queen looks good in glasses. I am envious lol. Maybe if they had glasses in Joseon era he would have won the Queen lol.
This is the first time I am seeing the FL, although I have seen her on the posters of many other dramas. I like her so far. I think she is believable as a put on, suffering in silence person.

I thought she was very good. Her eyes are very expressive.
Btw..when I watched the series I didn't know that she was famous, so I had no bias (positive or negative). I am not into modern music.

It is hard to tell. The comments are clearly directed towards Korea, or Korean society without any distinction (not all of them of course but there are tons, that is why I said some).
Loving the cultural output of a certain group, race, or country doesn't automatically mean loving those who produce it.
In the West, where I live, it is very common for people to cheer black athlets, love black singers and actors, but at the same time seeing Black people in a very negative and condescending way.
Btw..I do believe there is a serious problem, but one has to be a little bit more respectful when telling other countries how to solve their problems, especially when nobody asked you (I mean the generic you, not you personally :) ).

Please don't let your sadness about this news cloud your judgment in making such a sweeping statement about an entire country and describing it in horrible ways.
Many of you you are calling for understanding, but condeming an entire country in the same paragraph. Don't you find this ironic?
I am also very, very sad. he was my favourite Korean male actor, and My Mister is my favourite drama in any language. And, yes, there is a problem need to be addressed, but there is no need to use abusive language towards an entire country.
We all come from countries where our society has done some horrible stuff to its members.

S2 in 2025. And if you have S2, then you might get S3.
Good for anyone who like this format, but I absolutely hate it.
The single most attractive thing about Kdrama is the one season format.
I will stick to these series.

I hear a second season (Season, not part) is already being filmed, and might come out in 2025.
This news made up my mind for me. I am not going to watch something where I know that I have to wait at least to 2025, maybe more, to get an answer.

I beg to differ.
Despite the fact that Shin Hye Sun is a better actress than Shin Min A (also she is probably my favourite Korean actress), I liked HTCCC WAY (after 4 episodes at least)more. In my opinion litreally everything was done better there.
I am not saying this drama is bad, but so far IMO it just little bit above average.

Personally, I find it good when it is serious and actors have to deliver some proper dialogues.
However, there is a lot of humour and attempt to be funny as well, and here is up to taste. I find at least 70% (maybe even 80%) of it as cringe and silly. To me, there was only one genuinely funny scene. But, please know that I am a middle aged person, so the humour might be more appealing to younger population.
The biggest draw of the darma though is Shin Hye Sun. She is excellent.
After 4 episodes, I am still on the fence. It will largely depends on the balance between drama and "humour".

After 4 episodes I find myself in that uncomfortable spot where I am in the middle.
It is not hooking me. The humour veers towards silly/cringe instead of clever most of the time.
I enjoy the series only when characters start talking seriously and/or properly.
I love Shin Hye Sun, but I need more.
I will give it another week and re-asses.

Unlikely tbh. That is 51 episodes! Way too long.
