I saw so many edits before I started this drama and the comments were all positive like its the next best thing…
Generally speaking there is a rating inflation. Personally, I am enjoying it. It is lighthearted harmless fun. But, I would say it is closer to 7 than 8. The problem with rating is that the same number means something differently to different people, and that is why rating is a poor criteria for choosing drama imo.
Tbh I was in a similar situation as Ji Won was. People around me couldn't understand how I got together with my…
I am sorry that you had to go through similar situation. It is a bit awkward and hard to discuss personal issues, because I have questions for you. However, I don't feel it is appropriate for me to ask you probing personal questions just for the sake of drama discussion, especially if it is going to bring bad memories. We come here (at least me) to have fun mainly. So, lets just agree to disagree :) But, I just want to make it clear that I am really enjoying the series. My objection to one character doesn't negate all the other good aspects of it. I am not one of those who are all or nothing.
The drama put a comedic tone on him more often so we can see that he is bluffing but if you hear ji won's monologue,…
Ok. I hear you, and there is an amount of logic in what you say. I guess it is a personal judgment. I am simply not convinced, but at least I can see your point of view.
Bcz she want stability & a family.ppl surrounding her blamed her for their mistakes. What do u mean she has better…
First of all, I am talking about first life. Everything happening in her second life make sense. I respectfully disagree. You can have stability and family with another man. The series implied that she had othe boyfriends, so she can try with another one. I didn't say she had better job. I said she held the same positin (you can re-read my post). But, she had more money than him.
If you can understand her, good for you. Personally, I can't.
I am really enjoying the series, but Min Hwan character is badly written, or adapted (I haven't read the webtoon). I can't fathom why would Ji Won wants him (first life)? Even if we assume the young Ji Won had self esteem issues, the adult one went to university and she is probably the most qualified amongst her colleagues. She hold the same position at work. She has more money than him, and now in E8 she said she knew he was a jerk. It really stretch the believability that she would stay with him. If they at least made her in love with him I can understand that. But, she is litreally better than him in every department, and she doesn't love him. Why on earth would she marry him?? They are unfortunately making him bad in everything. He needed to be written more like Sumin. A baddie, but with many skills. In the early episodes he used to annoy me, and make me angry. Now, I just shrug.
P.S: The misspelling scene actually made me laugh instead of being outraged.
the way every one is saying they cant take min hwan seriousely cause of welcome to waikiki meanwhile here i am…
I haven't seen Welcome to Waikiki so I am watching him with fresh eyes. I am certainly closer to you, but he is also given (and that is the writer/director vision) that useless/helpless villian image. He is really very bad towards Ji Won, but he is so pathetic elsewhere I can also understand what others are saying. Unlike Su-min who is just an all round great baddie. I think the actress playing her deserves big credit.
It seems all of the characters are annoying except for Yu Jihyuk. I can't stand the acting of the FL, she looks…
I haven't read the Webtoon, so everything is speculation. This is a general comment, not neccessarily about this specific drama. Knowing the future doesn't completely change ones personality. It changes certain aspects of their actions, but personality changes takes a bit of time. As for the specific drama. The rules of time travel and action consequences haven't been well explained, but regardless, she can't just go Kill Bill because she know the future. The social and economic restrictions are still there. For example if she starts shouting back at her a** h*** manager, she will probably get fired, and that completely derail the plan. So, she has to act within the same norms. She is playing "the long game" so to speak. She is sacrificing momentary satisfaction to gain the ultimate goal. And, she has already scored her first victory in E6.
It makes me sad that both took off their glasses... really suited them. do Koreans hate so much glasses? Are you…
I loved glasses as well, especially ML. I know I am probably in tiniest of minorties, but I thought FL looked better before the transformation. Her hair looked better, and the glasses were Ok. Her clothes are nicer, but overall she doesn't look better to me.
That said, you have to be fair to Koreans. Thy are not the only ones who do that about glasses. I can list lots of movies/series from around the world where taking of glasses is meant to indicate that they look better now.
Did anyone notice that Joo Ran was acting entitled to Ji Won's work?Didn't expect that from her smh
I haven't read the webtoon (and I don't want to know either), but if I have to speculate, then I think we will eventually get a scene showing that she and Ji Won were in this together.
Love triangles are my most hated trope in Kdrama. They are utterly and completely useless. The only way to make…
I haven't read the webtoon, but I am almost certain he will end up with the sister. And, I would say that is not a bad deal at all. Maybe even better one lol. She gives me Gurami (from Extraordinary Attorney Woo) vibes.
Here comes my second lead syndrome again😭... Why am I rooting for Ji Won and Eun ho!!
Love triangles are my most hated trope in Kdrama. They are utterly and completely useless.
The only way to make them fun if creators make the less known actor (male or female) end up with the big name on a regular basis, not once in a blue moon. Other than that, I find them tedious, annoying and pointless.
I just want to give props to the actress Song Ha Yoon. I think she is making Su min annoying and despicable in a natural way of acting. I actually find her character more believable than Ji Won.
I lost interest, and feel this one is quickly going downhill just like Love in Contract. How are they going to…
I totally share your concerns, but not your conclusion. I suppose the difference is that I am willing to suspend my disbelief. I am choosing to switch off my brain and just enjoy it for what it is (It is quite enjoyable when I do that), because if I look at it critically, I will probably shred it to pieces lol.
I have issues with series/movies (of all languages) that are SOOO hypocritical about the importance of look. They preach that the inner quality of the person is what matters, but all what you see is that person became a success because they changed their outfit and appearences (In USA they even called a series Ugly Betty with supposedly ugly person, but they cast a really beautiful actress). I also find the FL underweight, and I know this might be a heresy, I don't find her particularly attractive despite the fact she is beautiful. Also, I liked her look much more with long hair. But, I don't care, she is a good actress, and her acting is convincing to me. On the whole, I find the drama very enjoyable, but I am also a bit worried what are they going to do in the next 10 episodes since they resolved lots of tention fairly quickly(PLEASE DON'T SPOIL if you have read the webtoon)

Considering that only 6 episodes have aired, I am suspecting that you are also time traveller lol.

Anyway, it is a matter for the police.
