I've already spoiled this drama alot and ik it has a sad ending but there are alot of rlly good reviews, if I…
I would say the end is bittersweet rather than outright sad. Mind you, imo, the best relationship in this series wasn't the romantic one. Unless you want only 100% happy ending then you should certainly watch it. It has so much more than just a romance.
After 4 episodes. The series is great, but I am SOOOOOOOO ANNOYED by that goat noise they add. I normally don't mind these noises they add in Kdrama, but in this series it is excessive and very annoying.
Anyway, the show itself is great, and since I was about the same age as these characters in 1988 (not in Korea though) it is VERY nostalgic. The parents of the main girl are such fantastic actors. The father is SOO good.
Please tell me there's a Second season!!! Is there a sequel to the novel?! ðŸ˜
Personally, I hope for the opposite. A second season will most likely concentrate on following up the thread in the post credit scene (I don't want to spoil).. To me, this is not very interesting (maybe tiny bit). The thing that made the series very good is the relationship between Ro Hee and Myung Joon. That storyline has concluded. Of course you can stretch it, but it will not be as good. For that reason, I hope they stop now.
Mediocre with capital M. Apart from the leads, the acting was passable to outright bad. I didn't hate it. I mean I finished it, but only because the ML & FL are charming in their own way. It also moved at relatively fast pace. But, it is very, very forgettable.
I really like this drama. But this was my second rewatch and I still absolutely hate the ending. Jang Bong Hwan…
How is that? He got back to his own world in his own body and gender. He said many many times during the series that he is missing being a man, and whenever he was the dominant personality in the earlier parts of the series he wanted to be with women.
I am NOT against gay love. Lots of my all time favourite movies and books have homosexual/bisexual relationships. (on that note: the movie Portrait of a lady on fire is Excellent! ) I just don't think Jang Bong Hwan had romantic feelings for the king. That was So young re-asserting her personalinty over her body.
If things would have remained the same, then So young and him would be constantly battling over the same body. How would that be a better end? Or, you "kill" So yong, and make Jang Bong Hwan bisexual towards the very end. Is that really better? I think the end was as good as it gets.
guys i was looking forward to this drama but i literally just started the drama starting with ep 12 and finished…
Sorry, but that is funny lool. It is hard to tell. I think you can still enjoy parts of it, but not all to be honest. I think you need to grab the remote control. When the leads are together it is fun to watch even if you know the end. In my opinion the heart of the story is the relationship between these two. But, you can skip over all the mystery parts since you already know how it ends.
It's truly a stunning drama. The healing aspect is so wholesome.
This show gets even better on multiple rewatches. Everytime you discover more gems. I wish the screenplay is translated to English, or the writer decide to rework it as a novel. The dialogues and thoughts in it are fantastic.
I just love it!!!After My liberation notes and My Mister, I realised what is my favourite genre of K-dramas...
From the same writer: "Another Miss Oh" . It is not as good as MLN, and most certainly not as good as My Mister. It is interesting to watch though. Like reading earlier works of your favourite author. You can see some of the elements that the author perfected later. Another Miss Oh is not as serious. Unfortunately, I found lots of its humour very silly. Lots of its side characters are cringe, but the leads are great.
It's more like she is a bit slow with understanding how to get used to the world in the present time when she…
I kind of disagree with you. I think the writing of her character is inconsistent, because she behaves like 16 years (or at least someone who haven't been in society for 15 years) in superficial things like in E2, and sometimes for laugh. However, in important things like dealing with the manager, and taking control of situation with Ran Joo she is way too mature in my opinion. Dealing with people is very hard skill for anybody, let alone for someone who has been away for 15 years.
am i the only one who thinks Mok Ha’s charachter is so similiar to Extraordinary Attorney Woo? It is borhersome,…
I beg to disagree. I don't see how similar they are? in what way? Of course being played by the same actress there might be some superficial things, but personally, I don't see it.
Girl just got off an island where she has been trapped for 15 years only to face the reality of the fact that…
I share your sentiment. My feelings are actually even stronger against who is Ki-Ho storyline? I believe it is making the series worse and dragging it down. There are so many themes and storylines that could have been pursued after the excellent E1. Instead we have this cliched and tiersome "mystery". My hope is they will be done with this next week. I am not 100% convinced by Mok ha progress. She kind of reconnected very fast and even took a leading role. Idk, I expected this to last longer. *sigh* unfortunately the series is only half focusing on the stuff I am interested in. I am NOT against romance (you can check my watch list), but I would have liked this MUCH more if Ki-Ho came to her/found her, and they started that journey of reconnection and him helping her easing into society. Along with Ran Joo storyline which is my favourite atm.
Instead we have this annoying "mystery" and brothers falling for the same gir stuff.
My first time seeing Eunbin. It is a very good series. Although there is a lot of Baseball talk, you don't need…
Apart from Eunbin who caught my eyes (I didn't know her then), my second favourite acting wise was Oh Jung-Se actually. I think he is a really very good actor (his acting in It is Okay to be not okay was superb)
So this Drama is heavily growing on me and I love seeing Eunbin so much haha. Was considering seeing her other…
My first time seeing Eunbin. It is a very good series. Although there is a lot of Baseball talk, you don't need to love the game (I don't) to enjoy it. The heart of it is changing the culture at workplace.
There's no way every shop was able to send back their albums, especially when they all knew she was about to be…
I just have a feeling that if this happens the artist can sue the agency. I think the agency can do a lot to negatively impact the artist, but an outright ban on sales seems a bit illegal. But, that is just me speculating. I am not a lawyer. In the context of the series, time is important though, so even if the action is legally dubious you can argue that whatever fine they might pay will be less than half the company.
I liked the 3rd episode. It is about the same like 2nd. First episode remains the strongest. For me, Mok ha-Ranjoon and that entire line is WAAAAY more interesting than KiHo, and who might be (Bo Geol). That line is going to be bad and illogical no matter what reasons they will come up with. It is also hard to believe that Mok ha wouldn't recognise him. People don't change that drastically when they reach 17/18. And even if you forget in a chance encounter, you wouldn't forget them if you spend time with them. The whole thing is actually very annoying no matter what is the outcome. The only good thing so far is that we are not spending much time on it, although its share time starting to increase. For me, this has the potential to take away one or more stars.
Generally speaking, it is enjoyable and fun to watch, but it doesn't hold under serious scrutiny. Park Eun Bin is great. The cinematography is great. The scene in the corridor outside the manager's office was brilliant. This is something Kdramas do really well.
Mind you, imo, the best relationship in this series wasn't the romantic one.

It is not terrible, but unbalanced behaviour.

I don't know the law, but isn't this malpractice?
