I did not like Lee Yeon much in S1, but in S2, he's definitely super likeable. Mostly because he gave Rang the care and love he deserved. And is it just me or he's way funnier in this season. I love the humor sense of the whole season actually.

3 things I LOVED about Season2: Lee Yeon is way more likeable in this one. Ofc, the focus on the fox brothers and RAAANG finally found peace and love. Very happy for him, he's suffered enough in S1. Still bitter about his death in S1 though. OMG. I will never forgive writers for that. Btw, I'm angry at the fact that Rang and Yuri's bond was nowhere to be found in S2. Too bad, it was just beautiful and cute in S1.

I usually like angst, but for these two, I wanted it to stop. It was just too long, they didn't deserve all this pain because their love was beautiful and selfless. I wish drama was extended just give them more happy moments. I mean really... Part 2 was disappointing in terms of romance. All I wanted was for them to be happy. Haha

Yeah great I'm into historical, period and political dramas. I definitely welcome recommendations. I'm new to c-dramas yes, but a veteran K-drama viewer haha The Blue Whisper is nothing like anything Korean I watched. This whole genre is new to me and I think I like it a lot. Gonna put You're My Glory in my watchlist. Mom likes Yang Yang A LOT. lol

Actually, I knew Dilraba from The Long Ballad (My first ever c-drama) then I got to know Allen from One and Only. (My second c-drama lol) I'm so happy they worked together here. I like them both. Btw, Allen's dramas are cool, his characters are always so gentle, I swear...

The actor did great portraying such an innocent character. His facial expressions and body language made the pure merman so believable. Especially during the first few episodes when he was still exploring the land, and when Ji Yunhe told him she loved him (when she actually didn't!) Aw~!

Wow... Reading yourcomment and I'm like... Wow... My opinion is completely the opposite. I'm new to Ren JiaLun (and Chinese dramas in general) and yeah I can definitely see that he does not really do kissing lol It is not really a problem to me because I love his acting as a lover so much. He can convey all kinds of affection without the need to do passionate scenes. Actually, my respect for him grew bigger when I learnt that he's kinda conservative because he's married and has a baby. Don't remember where I read that, but honestly, if this is the case, I envy his wife. Lol All I want is to see him more on my screen, I can accept the no-kiss policy.

Honestly, the highlight of this drama is the innocent pure merman ML. He wins my heart.

This was unnecessarily long. The "save him, save her, sacrifice myself for him/her" antic was overly used that sacrifice was no longer a thing. Honestly, I wish the main lead couple learnt to fight the hardships together instead of the many one-sided(?) sacrifices they made for one another. Please. Learn to talk it out and solve it together. It's better if you two live and die together instead of sacrificing oneself in order to save the other and trap him/her with loneliness & guilt for the rest of his/her life. This is my opinion, given the plot and the circumstances of THIS drama. Btw, Xu Xuan is super cute with his sharp tongue lol Green Snake Demon is really funny and she looks great with Qi Xiao. Too bad they did not manage to have a proper ending. I'm relieved with happy ending for Xu Xuan and Xiao because c'mon after all those sufferring, they deserve a happy ending. I'm usually fan of sad endings. But in this drama, give me a break. I can accept nothing but a happy ending.
