It's frustrating the fact that he doesn't want to let Earn take care of Noh, but he's not with Noh either because he doesn't want to leave Aim... And it's even more frustrating that Noh tolerates Phun's jealousy and controlling behaviors. I mean, when the original came out, that kind of "relationship" was tolerated because there were no more BLs to watch, but nowadays, it's hard to accept. There are a lot of things that don't make sense in the series, and maybe it's, as you rightly say, because there are plot holes from the original series. And yes, both Earn and Yuri are walking green flags.... I don't remember the original series (I watched it many years ago), but I hope they pair Earn with someone who deserves him

Honestly, watching a series as conflicted as this one nowadays is emotionally complicated. Even knowing that the plot of Love Sick revolves around it, it's exhausting to watch Phun's comings and goings. Maybe because we've grown accustomed to shows where healthy communication is the main focus. I'm not going to stop watching it, despite the plot, some flaws in the direction or acting, or even the thousand couples... It's a series I enjoy. I just think... What would happen if for once the main character (Noh) goes with the good and emotionally mature guy (Earn) and not the one who gives him headaches (Phun) ? I think everyone's head would explode.... But I would definitely pay to see something like that.

Dude chill, if you don't like the series don't watch it. If you know how Thai series are, why are you frustrated by them? The audience likes to watch a cute series and focuses more on character development than just a kiss. I don't know why you criticize Thai series as if they owe you something.
