Interesting reading the comments it is not on Netflix here in the us, and some say it is on Kocowa and viki, if you pay extra can get some Kocowa drama's and this one doesn't show up on viki either. If you go to Kocowa it does. Wondering if if this is the only one that does this or if there are more that are only on Kocowa and not viki.
These were a good selection they are all so versatile. There are so many others that I will hate in one drama then in another love them. I haven't seen Heo Joon Ho in anything else yet other then Come and Hug Me he scared me so much in that!!!
Thank You for the article, I haven't watched any of these yet, some of them are on my to be watched list. Have to figure out which one I may want to start next. :)
Enjoyed the article, some I knew about when I watched the drama's. I knew Jo Jung Suk could sing when I saw him in a drama with IU years ago, I think Park Eun Bin was the one that surprised me in Casting Diva I didn't know she could sing till then :)
There are a lot of daily drama's I am not sure if there is a list anywhere on MDL. I have watched about 9 Daily…
The next one that is starting after this one is called LET'S GET MARRIED MAENGKONG. I am not sure what other one's are on going right now. I look at what is going to be coming out from the mdl site and figure out what I want to watch.
can anybody suggest me some more ongoing drama like Su Ji & U Ri . means a series more than 50 episodes ( ongoing…
There are a lot of daily drama's I am not sure if there is a list anywhere on MDL. I have watched about 9 Daily drama's (these are about 100 episodes) and 18 Long weekend drama's (these are usually around 50).
For Daily drama's I would recommend Be My Dream Family (The actress in Su Ji & U Ri is in it). I also liked The Love in Your Eyes (the Male actor in Su Ji & U Ri is in it)
Long Weekend drama's there are a few that I loved, What Happen to my Family, Five Enough, My Father is Strange, Once Again, Smile You, It's Beautiful Now.
I would recommend reading about them and watching the trailers before starting any of them, to see if you would like them :)
From the trailer I was looking forward to this drama, and the first episode I enjoyed so much. It has childhood friendships, and it seems like she hasn't changed since she was younger with they way she acts towards him. I enjoyed the first episode it was fun which . I enjoy rom-com, so I am looking forward to the next episode! I love Jung So Min she can do comedy so well!
Thank you for the article, it was insightful to see how people feel and all the comments. I am probably one of the opposites when it comes to tropes (rom-com). I still enjoy watching them, even if they have the same theme, to me what makes the drama is what they do with the theme. How are the characters different. I loved all three that you had in your example, and each one was for a different reason, it was mainly the actors themself and how they played the character.
I do admit to times that I start a drama, but I could stop watching it and pick it up at another time, and then I will come across one that I just want to watch one episode after another, since I am enjoying it so much.
I also do try to have a variety that I watch, at least 1 j drama, 1 c drama, and then the k dramas I try to at least one older drama a year, and I usually have at least a long daily drama going, and then mulitple other drama's which could be rom-com, fantasy, melo-drama, suspense. (just nothing horror or thriller I can't seem to watch them).
Also agree with busy life, I used to be able to watch at least 2 to 3 drama's a day, now I barely get my 30 minute daily drama in. I think that is more because it's summer and you want to be outside doing yard work, swimming, reading, picnic's etc. Come winter I will have more time to watch more.
The thing that brought me to drama's back in 2012 was slow build up of the relationship, so happy when they finally held hands, and waiting for them to finally kiss was always a big excitement. I don't know what drama's everyone is watching since most of the one's I watch still have that. Once in a while you will see them starting to undress and go to the bedroom, but then you get the next morning. I haven't found the ones' with nudity in them, the korean movies I have, but I haven't in the drama's.
Thank You for the article, I have watched Chani in some of the drama's I didn't realize how many he had done. I was surprised to see he has done a lot more then Rowoon. I guess Chani was a child actor :)
I just realized that the actor who is playing the brother isn't even in the cast list. I tried to look his name upon MDL and it isn't there, I saw down below a link to youtube with the Iced Americano song and his name is on there. Jong Hun Kim wondering how that information gets added.
Very enjoyable article I loved the Reply Series. Sometimes I think it depends on which one you watched first :) I watched 1994 first (I loved it), then I watched 1988 (loved it more then 1994), then I watch 1997 (I enjoyed it). I think because of the way I watched them 1988 was hard to beat!
1994 and 1997 dealt with family, friends and relationships, I think the reason why I loved 1988 the most, was the different families in the neighborhood. The elder ladies sitting around talking reminded me of my Mom and Dad always talking to the neighbors. My mom was usually on the phone with the lady across the street and my Dad would be outside with her husband, and then the other gentleman in the neighborhood sometimes joined them.
I had graduated from high school and married by the middle of the 80's, but 1988 still gave me the nostalgic feeling of growing up! It wasn't just the parents, I had friends that were always over in the summer just hanging around like the friends did in 1988.
I love the Reply if I had to pick if you couldn't tell already 1988 would be my favorite, then 1994, then 1997 :) I would recommend all three to people!
Wow I can't believe it was 10 years ago that Yoon Park and Park Hyung Sik worked together in What Happens with this family. I really enjoy watching Yoon Park!
Thank You for the recommendations. I did watch Thumping Spike and Thumping Spike 2. From your previous article I had watched Hot Stove League, and Fight my way
Maybe these are not web series but I would also recommend Racket Boys. It was about Badminton. It had the sports, friendships, with a little small romance.
Love All Play this had a some sports and romance. This was also about Badminton!

I looked up Moon Woo Jin and it's funny he has played the younger character of Jang Ki Yong in Come and Hug Me and Kill it! :)
