Hello I enjoyed the article. Back when I used to read books & manga (before I got into the drama's) I used to do that try to read at least one more book then I had the last year. It was getting to the point where I wasn't enjoying reading as much. Now I have been on the same book for at least 3 years, and haven't picked up a manga in about 1 year. I used to love to read.
Then I started to watch drama's and I did that the first few years I just want to watch more more then last year. Then in 2021 I watched a lot with lock down and I had more time to watch, I catch myself this year trying to see how many I have watched and if I will watch the same amount, and the other day I stopped and thought are you enjoying the drama's or just trying to get as many in. The answer I discovered is I am still enjoying the drama's and yes I think I am watching less this year then last year but that doesn't matter as long as I enjoyed them :)
As for hype I have never been good at that. When I hear something is good, I watch the trailers and read the synopsis if it is something I will like I watch it, if not I put it on my plan to watch and re-visit it later, see if I may want to watch it or not. Then there are times I am watching the drama's that are being hyped and then I read negative comments and I shrug and think, not everyone has the same tastes. I am enjoying it and that is all that matters to me :)
I do have to admit trying to find Japanese dramas and information is harder. I wanted to start another new one and looking at the few lists of dramas I could find with recommendations. It's really hard to then find the drama. I know Netflix and Viki are starting to have more but there still isn't that many to choose from.
I'm enjoying both King of the Land and See You in My 19th Life. King of the Land is a fun Rom-Com I was blindsided with all the comments and reviews not quite understanding what had happened. I just saw episode 7 as being fun banter between a Prince and the ML character. I actually enjoyed it. Since I am not from that country I guess they could of seen it as something else, I only saw it as a fun interactions, maybe once I watch episode 8 I would change my view but episode 7 had me smiling, I thought the Prince was charming and fun.
Thank You, you listed all the reason why I am enjoying DR Cha. You really don't know what is going to happen at the end. At first I was going to skip over this drama because of reading the husband was a cheater, but I am glad I watched the first episode, once I watched it I needed to know what was going to happen next. The cliffhangers at the end have been so good at wanting me to watch the next episode to see!

Keita is already in a group called Ciipher (not sure if they are promoting now since another member is doing a different survival show) I hope this brings more fans to Ciipher I have enjoyed their songs! I agree I want Jongwoo to debut with another group and end up doing well!

Checked Disney + and Hulu in the US for ubreakable bond and not there yet. Will probably show up sometime in the next 3 to 6 months. Sigh may have to see if i can find it someplace else.

hulu doesn't have a settings option to watch subbed or dubbed, you have to physically find the one that says "(Subbed)"…
Netflix is setup to work with subs and not CC, I don't think I found that yet in Disney + :) I have been trying to figure out how to watch it with subs for months.
Well on my Disney + I can only see Snowdrop and Soundtrack #1 (and today I finally started Soundtrack #1 once I figured out how to make it be subbed and not dubbed.
I had been trying to watch it there since if first started luckily there was someone that finally explained how to do it by clicking on the settings once it started. Not sure I liked the subbed either it takes getting used to because they even do if someone is sighing or humming, or even if music is playing. It must be for people that are hard of hearing.
Reading below about them being on Hulu still haven't figured out how to get Hulu subbed and not dubbed. Maybe once I can do that and they have these drama's listed I will watch them.

I usually don't watch survival shows because I really can't handle when they are eliminated. I only started this for Hui. So far they way they were showing him, it seemed like the coaches were holding him up to a higher evaluation, and was editing him like he wasn't any good. People also keep mentioning about Pentagon, no one knows what is happening with Pentagon their contracts are up this year, other comments I read are saying he is to old.
From what I have seen the groups he has been in on this show have all worked very well together and had solid performances. If you tell me it is because of the other members in the group yes they helped as well, but I think the performances shined because of Hui influence.
Same goes for Kieta does everyone realize he is also in a group, yes it has only been a year or two since he debut but still he has been on stages and performing, the stages on this show he has been a part of has also shined.
I was really sad when I saw Hui drop out of the top 9. If it is because they don't think he fits in then they should go back and re-watch the performances he is fitting in well! If it is about Pentagon no one knows what is up with them. I LOVE Pentagon so I really don't want them to disband :(

Hello this is a good article, like others say don't force yourself to watch anything, and if you drop it you drop it. I haven't had a real slump since I started in 2012, there have been a few times I will put it on hold for a few weeks while I watch something else that interests me more, then I go back to it, if it sparks my interest again I'll finish it other times I will either try again, or put it on hold indefinitely. I don't think I have dropped a drama in 2 years I have started to be pickier in what I watch.
I am not big on revenge, or dark, drama's either I like the rom-com, melodrama's, and heartwarming. I watched all 6 that you did and loved them! Out of your others Attorney Woo, and Mystic Pop-up bar I loved. Hometown Cha Cha was good, and Inspector and Joy that took me time to get through. I did like it.
It's hard to recommend a straight up romance since most romance seems to also have some angst. Some comments below recommended the following drama's I thought they were good s well. Once Upon a Small town, Racket Boys, True Beauty, Tomorrow, Move to Heaven, Our Beloved Summer.
What I do now before starting any drama is watch the trailers, read what it is about, check out comments, and I do this more then once. Don't push your self take your time and try to find something that really appeals to you, or as others wrote, go back and watch the older drama's. Each year I try to go back and watch a drama that is older that I never watched before.
I didn't even know there was going to be a season 2. I loved the first one, so knowing there was going to be a season 2 this makes me sad that it was cancelled.
If you haven't watched the first one and it's on your list I recommend to watch it, the ending was good, and you would of never known it was to have a 2nd season.
