If you are looking for a story with deep meaning, character developing and a love triangle or super love... this is not for you. this is fun to watch... just because... light as a feather. I liked it. Episodes are very short around 9 minutes each (?)
I want ramen. Ramen is the main character here... so yeah... all good. Love the little info about the restaurants and their history. Would totally add it to my "To Go Places" if I ever visit Japan.
If you look up the actual story and characters of this dramas it didn't change much and you wont feel that lost. They sprinkled romance and humor to enhance the entertainment/fiction aspect of the drama. So I would say that history wise is overall "accurate". Don't forget that the real events where scarier than this. Mad respect for them. If you are into history you should totally check it out. Really interesting.
The OST that hymn..... right in the guts and guilt. Ok just watch it. You wont regret it. Romance is VERY light... but this is not a romance story it is more a biography of how Bang Won becomes King Taejong.
So happy for Yoo Ah In.... while a lot of people underestimate him I've always believed he is one of the BEST actors out there. He is really honest and gives his all to his characters. I am up to episode 48 (I need to sleep now) but I'm so in love with all the characters and their stories. Yoo Ah In please please don't stop been amazing. The WHOLE CAST is fantastic. A total MASTERPIECE.
I've no idea of what I just watched. Yaoi... yes... love story... perhaps.... no idea of the story. might have to read the manhwa perhaps to get the story...
This drama is perfect. It had all I wanted and more. After reading the comments I don't know if people watched…
I do recommend you to watch it... "A Wife's Credential" It is often ignored by people but the content is really heavy. So you might want to watch a few more lighter dramas funny ones romantic comedy before this... then when you are ready sit down and enjoy. It really blew me away. It is a whole another level of drama. The actors where REALLY good the whole cast.

Ouh well.... you shouldn't watch "A Wife's Credentials" then. It is heavier than this and even more emotional draining than Valid Love. But if you feel like been taken away in a roller coaster of emotions do watch it. You should try the "I need romance" series. There are three of them. All different stories. Grown up relationship themes. Very nice stories all different with all different cast. And all the OST are really good. Try that out for a little bit of everything... romance. Funny things and relationships discussions. Enjoy! I'm recommending cause ot seems you can handle this very well. Hahaha. Hope you l8ke them.

I wouldn't call her a slut. She indeed cheated but I wouldn't call her that. It was wrong to cheat. But it is more complicated than she just cheated. Marriage is about understanding. I don't know what I would have done. So I can't put names on whatever happened. If you are confident on what you are doing you have to be equally confident for thenaftermatch of your actions. I loved the drama. Yes. People just need to grow up.
This drama was awesome. It's a great connection between 2 stories. I don't know why ppl hate this so much O.o…
You don't have to if you don't want to... like you said it is your opinion. #NoteTaken
I was just referring to your "I don't know why ppple hate this so much"

I don't like it cause it is NOTHING like in the webtoon. The webtoon story is awesome and haves all that the drama missed. If you ever get the chance to read the webtoon, do so. Only then you will understand.
I watch a lot of dramas... all kinds of dramas and this one left me frustrated. I was really looking forward to it. The cast was great but the story on the drama makes no sense after you have read the webtoon. Perhaps that why some didn't like it.
I feel like this drama would fit a young audience despite some bloody (usually with zero violence) scenes. Maybe…
If you didn't read the webtoon perhaps you might find the drama good cause you have no background story. But if you read the webtoon you might not be able to finish it. Please do yourself a favor and read the webtoon. Do not watch this. Haha! Yes, you are welcome.

I couldn't end it. I read the webtoon and was so frustrated. The webtoon had an amazing story that made sense. It had no need for a amnesia and historical part or whatever. For me nothing made sense. All the good parts were ignored. I don't blame the actors it is the writers fault.
How can you resume a 100+ chapters of a webtoon in 5 episodes. The webtoon was darker and the love stories were stronger. I have seen LOTS of drama and I was super excited for this one but no. Totally upset with everything.
The OST is good. I wish this was done on another channel with writers that just stayed true to the original story.
this drama is alright. ENding was unexpected and confusing. I guess the main guy deserved what he got for being…
they don't have to explain cause it is already explained... "the story of the murderer" In one of the last episodes it is explained even before it happens. there is a conversation between the dad and the rich guy that explains everything (at least the death)
I loved this drama. I loved to hate the characters cause it was meant for that. It is not a drama for you to fall in love and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. This is a drama about morals and greed not really about a couple falling in love. The reason why it ends that way is clearly explained on the drama on a few episodes. I sometimes wonder if people actually payed attention to the drama and the story cause it was all explained. I still love it. It shouldn't be compared with other dramas. The actress was annoying sometimes... I agree with that. But the drama is good. It is just that is not everyone's cup of coffee and people didn't get the end they wanted. In real life not everything ends the way we wanted and this drama showed that. Be your own judged.
This drama is perfect. It had all I wanted and more. After reading the comments I don't know if people watched the same drama that I just watched. I don't know what they where expecting. It talked to me in so many levels. The title "Valid Love" is well portrayed on the whole drama. This is the closest to real life that I've seen in KDramas lately. This is what love does. This is what having a family and been married means.... compromise in the good, bad and illness.
