Thanks for this review. I'm just on the 3rd episode and I find it interesting. I agree with the avant-garde riskiness of the writers. It's slow paced but it is good and the actors did well. KimuraTakuya's hair is KING (had to say it).
Seems that people don't have patient for this kind of story since they are used to modern dramas with all the flashy things.
Husband cheats on wife with the lover. Wife meets lover and they become friends. Lover finds out she is pregnant and so does the wife. Wife and lover confront husband. He dies frozen outside (I don't remember why? but he dies.) Wife and lover keep friendship and raise the baby together since wife always wanted to have a kid with husband but never could.
Watched the whole thing dramas and movies from 2001 to 2015 and it was WORTH IT. Sad that this is really the end. It is a MUST watch if you are a Kimura Takuya fan and enjoy well written stories. The MVP is the bartender... love his character.
Absolutely so much better ... be it acting, directing, or even cinematography ... only 2 years apart but it feels…
I also believe this. There is not much about better or worse. They just try to convey different cultural aspects of each country. Japan and Korea have their own unique way of storytelling. Japanese tend to be open about certain aspects meanwhile Korea still hides under their conservative curtain. This alone changes the feeling of the story.
If you want to watch a music video that spans over 12 episodes that has some drama on the side, then this is for…
I'm only watching this for Matsuda Shota cause I missed him. Taemin still has a LONG way to go and learn to distinguish between acting for a music video and a drama.

Kimura Takuya is KING! :D
Korea went for a more lighter and conservative version. Both still worth watching.

I was talking in general after seen a few dramas in both versions. Each country adjusts to their public's understanding or expectations.
