It was so cheesy.... but done well in a very lightweight fun drama. It was just what I needed. Everyone was so cute and they made fun of all the cliches in dramas. I laughed a lot.
I'm currently watching ep 19 an no drama so far. There is perhaps a hint to something could happen but that isn't the direction of the drama at all for now. So I would say it is romance free.
I just finished and I am happy that is a whole different drama... satire and criticism at its best. Siwon did so good on the drama. His reactions and been over expressive when needed is everything. Looking forward to a season 2 is it ever gets done.
One of my favorite dialogues was in Episode 31 (or 16 if you watch it as a full hour episode): KJM (Old Politician) You have changed a lot since I first met you. Do you realize that? YJK (Siwon): I should change. I guessed my position changed me. KJM (Old Politician) No, no. Your position changed you? That's gibberish. I think you found the right position.
I can only think about Super Junior and ELF whenever they are doing Yang Jung Kook campaign sign... greeting. I will say that Siwon had something to do with that. It is blue and all.
I just hope they are more open and out of the box. I wont compare it to the Japanese cause then I will end up not watching it. Lol! I'll wait and see how this goes.
I am not able to watch this drama beacuse of kim jae wook if ith had lee dong wook, park hyung sik,ji chang wook…
I have that same problem with other dramas when they don't have an actor I don't "like" them...still I give it a try. Perhaps I might like them in that drama in particular... who knows. I also enjoy the works of all the actors you mentioned.
Kim Jae Wook is one of my all time favorites since I watched him in Antique Bakery and Coffee Prince. Actually since Antique Bakery I followed all the main actors careers ( Kim Jae Wook, Yoo Ah In and Joo Ji Hoon ) and no regrets so far. They're all precious to me.
I don't hate it but I don't love it either. Many issues with the abusers and victims relationship and how they dealt with the whole violence. What should women in Korea do if they identify with this type of situation? Just stay there for the kids? Get a surgery after escaping? Why do the abusers always end up free? (he lost his job.. ok.. but he only gets to do therapy.... what the hell? what about jail time?)
All the females (mostly the mothers) where either too gullible, crazy, ignorant, good, or stupid. The only character with a little judgement and logic was Kang Woo.... the rest.. nope... thank you. Chan Ki and Soo Jin deserved each other.
Kim Jae Wook is perfect and there is all you need to know. I enjoyed this drama.Besides all this negative comments…
I really wanted them to show when Shi An finds out who was running his favorite fansite. But well it is was also good they kept that a "mystery". Makes the fangirling even better. LOL!

Besides all this negative comments here I found it very funny. I LOVED all the fangirling. I remembered when I used to keep track of my favorite KPop group and stayed up all night watching uploading stuff... etc...etc... it was fun and met tons of nice people. I liked they showed all the different sides of been a fangirl and that yes people over 20 and even 30 can be fangirls and still have a life. Been there done that. No regrets.

Doona softly caresses IU's thumb after telling her she wont marry her dad.
